Ottawa Senators @ Columbus Blue Jacket

NHL fans are probably disappointed that there is only one game scheduled for tonight and it isn’t even an attractive game. Senators are without motivation since they have no chance to make the playoffs. They are also on a 2-game losing streak and they won just 3 of their last 10 games.

Meanwhile, Blue Jackets are probably going to the playoffs and with a bit of a winning streak they could even move up further. Unfortunately for them, they are in abysmal form at the moment since they have lost 8 games in a row. Tonight they have a great opportunity to break that losing streak against one of the worst teams in the league.

Our Pick: Blue Jackets on the Puckline

Chicago Blackhawks @ Dallas Stars

Stars are in solid form at the moment since they have won 6 of their last 10 games. However, they lost last night to Blues in front of their home crowd, which was a serious hit to their hopes of getting the top spot in the West.

Meanwhile, Chicago is pretty inconsistent lately and they have won just 3 of their last 10 games, including the overtime win over Nashville a couple of nights ago. With Stars looking to get back to the winning track and Blackhawks not having any competitive motive, we would back Dallas tonight.

Our Pick: Stars on the Puckline

San Jose Sharks @ New York Islanders

Islanders have been playing in short streaks lately, which is why they have a score of 5-5 in the last 10 games. And while they seem destined for the playoffs, they are still not definitely in.

Meanwhile, Sharks are not in the playoff race for a while now and they are on a 3-game losing streak. And even though they have just one win less than Islanders in the last 10 games, the home court advantage and stronger motive should be enough for Islanders to get the win.

Our Pick: Islanders on the Puckline

Calgary Flames @ Detroit Red Wings

While Red Wings were the worst team in the league the entire season, in the last 10 games they have won 3 and they showed that they are indeed a professional hockey team. Meanwhile, Flames are fighting for the playoffs along with a few more teams in the West and they need this win badly.

Even though we believe Flames will triumph tonight, we would suggest betting on over instead. With Red Wings in solid form, they have been scoring well. However, they still have one of the worst defenses in the league, so over seems like a logical choice.

Our Pick: Over 6 Total Goals

Vegas Golden Knights @ Anaheim Ducks

Golden Knight are one of the hottest teams in the NHL at the moment and they have won 5 games in a row and 7 of their last 10. They have also broken the 11-game winning streak of Tampa Bay a couple of nights ago and placed themselves on top of the Pacific Division.

On the other hand, Ducks are on a 3-game losing streak and they have given up on postseason hopes a long time ago. We would either take Golden Knights on the moneyline or over 6 goals since both options seem pretty certain.

Our Pick: Golden Knights on the Moneyline

Carolina Hurricanes @ Toronto Maple Leafs

Maple Leafs are fighting for the playoffs but they are not in the best form right now since they have won only 4 of their last 10 games. However, Hurricanes are tied with Maple Leafs in points and they are also trying to make the postseason. They have been a bit better lately since they won 5 of their last 10 games.

This looks like a game that could go either way but Toronto comes into it after a strong performance and a convincing win against Penguins. Maple Leafs are also better in recent head-to-head matches, with 6 wins from the last 10 matches, including the only game these two teams played this season.

Our Pick: Maple Leafs on the Moneyline

Montreal Canadiens @ Ottawa Senators

This is a duel between two teams that have given up on any postseason ambitions. Senators have been playing just because they have to for a while now but they did win 3 of their last 5 games. Meanwhile, Canadiens have just one victory in the last 5 games, so they are in a pretty bad shape.

When you take the injury problems that Canadiens have into account, it becomes obvious that they are not such strong favorites as the odds suggest. We would gladly take a chance on Senators on the puckline in this one.

Our Pick: Senators on the Puckline

Tampa Bay Lightning @ Arizona Coyotes

Tampa Bay finally lost to Golden Knights a couple of nights ago, which ended their 11-game winning streak. Still, Lightning are playing extremely well and they are fighting for the top spot in the league before the playoffs.

Meanwhile, Coyotes are struggling at the moment with only 4 wins in the last 10 games. They are also on a 2-game losing streak and they seem further and further from the playoffs with each passing game. We expect Tampa Bay to get right back on the winning track tonight.

Our Pick: Lightning on the Puckline

Florida Panthers @ Vegas Golden Knights

Golden Knights are in great form – they are on a 4-game winning streak, they have won 7 of their last 10 games and they have broken Tampa Bay’s winning streak in the last game. They have also taken the top spot in the Pacific Division from Oilers.

On the other hand, Panthers are fighting for playoffs but they have only won 3 of their last 10 games. Vegas should win this game but you could also try betting on over since they also score a lot of goals lately.

Detroit Red Wings @ New York Islanders

Red Wings are 3-7 in their last 10 games and they enter this duel after the win over Canadiens. While they are still the worst team in the league, they have showed some signs of progress lately since they have also beaten Bruins a week ago.

Meanwhile, Islanders are on a 4-game losing streak and they have jeopardized their playoff spot. They need a win badly and playing at home against Red Wings is probably the best possible opportunity to get it.

Our Pick: Islanders on the Puckline

St. Louis Blues @ Dallas Stars

Blues have been struggling a lot lately since they have only own 3 of their last 10 games. However, they seem to be getting back in form since they have won their last two games. Now, they will be playing against their main rival for the top spot in the West.

Stars are in great form since they have won 7 of their last 10 games. This is a game that could go either way, so we would suggest betting on goals instead. Both teams rely on their defense for good results, so under seems like a good choice.

Our Pick: Under 5.5 Total Goals

Nashville Predators @ Chicago Blackhawks

Blackhawks seemed to have come alive for a while but they have gone on a bad run once again and sealed their fate this season. They have only won 2 of their last 10 games and now they are far from making the playoffs.

Meanwhile, Predators are still in the race, although they are falling behind and it seems unlikely that they can make the playoffs. But they are 6-4 in the last 10 games and if they can get the win tonight they can remain hopeful.

Our Pick: Predators on the Moneyline

Colorado Avalanche @ Anaheim Ducks

Colorado is in good form, with 6 wins in the last 10 games. They are just 3 points behind the top spot in the West, so they certainly hope to get the best possible position before the start of the postseason.

On the other hand, Ducks are on a 2-game losing streak and they have only won 4 of their last 10 games. They have not playoff ambitions left, so with Avalanche highly motivated we expect this to be an easy win for Colorado.

Pittsburgh Penguins @ Toronto Maple Leafs

Penguins are in great form with 7 wins in the last 10 games. They are also on a 3-game winning streak and they are fighting for the top spot in the Metropolitan Division. Meanwhile, Maple Leafs are in bad form with 4 wins in the last 10 games. They are still in the playoff race but they need to get into the winning mode.

With that in mind, it is perhaps better to stay away from betting on the final score and focus on goals. With both teams in the top six of the NHL in scoring, this should be a very interesting game with plenty of goals.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Total Goals

Winnipeg Jets @ Ottawa Senators

Senators are on a surprising two-game winning streak but they still have only 3 wins in the last 10 games and they are the second-worst team in the East. On the other hand, Jets are fighting for the playoffs and they have won 6 of their last 10 gems.

This is a very important match for Jets and they need to win this game to remain in the race. We believe that they can get it and that they can do it in a convincing fashion.

Our Pick: Jets on the Moneyline

Tampa Bay Lightning @ Vegas Golden Knights

This is the most interesting game of the night. Lighting are in an amazing form in the last couple of months and they are on an 11-game winning streak. Meanwhile, Golden Knights are also in solid form, with 6 wins in the last 10 games. They are also on a 3-game winning streak.

While we expect a lot of goals as well and we could put some money on over 6 total goals, we like the odds on Lighting on the moneyline a lot. We wouldn’t want to miss this chance to bet on the hottest team in the league, despite the fact that they have a respectable opponent.

New York Rangers @ Chicago Blackhawks

Blackhawks are in bad form and they are close to giving up any hope of making the playoffs. They have won just 3 games in the last 10 and they are at the bottom of the Central Division, although they are only 8 points away from the playoff spot.

Meanwhile, Rangers are definitely out of the playoff picture for a while now but they are in great form with 7 wins in the last 10 games. Still, despite their struggles, Blackhawks have a reason to fight and win this game, and we would bet on their motivation.

Our Pick: Blackhawks on the Moneyline

Arizona Coyotes @ Dallas Stars

Stars are only two points from the top spot in the West and they have been breathing down the Bruins’ necks for a while now. They are in good form, with 6 wins in the last 10 games, although they did lose their last game.

On the other hand, Coyotes are fighting for the playoffs after being in control most of the season. But their poor recent form with only 4 wins in the last 10 games brought them down. And while they are on a 2-game winning streak now, we expect Dallas to win this one.

Our Pick: Stars on the Moneyline

Florida Panthers @ Anaheim Ducks

Ducks have been just bad enough to miss the playoffs but not that bad to be considered one of the worst teams in the league. In the last 10 games, they have 5 wins and they seem to be playing well without any pressure.

Panthers, however, are in bad form with only 3 wins in the last 10 games. They still have a chance to make the playoffs but that is become increasingly unlikely. This is a game where betting on goals is the smarter choice, especially since both of these teams can struggle to score at times.

Toronto Maple Leafs @ Pittsburgh Penguins

Penguins are in great form and they have managed to come to only one point of Capitals who are first in the Metropolitan Division. Penguins have also played two games less, so they are in great position. This team won 7 of the last 10 games and two games in a row as well.

Meanwhile, Maple Leafs are a bit inconsistent lately, with 5 wins from their last 10 games. With that in mind, we would bet on Penguins but we feel that betting on goals is a safer choice. Both teams can score in high numbers and over seems like a good bet.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Total Goals

Montreal Canadiens @ Detroit Red Wings

Red Wings are probably wishing for a time machine, so they can just skip to the end of the season. They have been the worst team in the league by far, with just 14 wins from 61 matches. They are also on a 4-game losing streak and they have lost 8 of their last 10 games.

However, Canadiens are also on a 4-game losing streak. On top of that, 3 of the 14 games that Red Wings won this season have come against Canadiens. And yet, we would still suggest to bet on Canadiens on the puckline – that’s how bad Red Wings are.

Our Pick: Canadiens on the Puckline

Los Angeles Kings @ Winnipeg Jets

Kings have given up on any playoff ambitions a long time ago since they are the worst team in the West and they have lost 7 of their last 10 games. However, they did win two games in a row and enter into this game in good mood.

Meanwhile, Jets are fighting for the playoff spot since they sit just outside. Their recent form with 5 wins in the last 10 games is not helping but they should be more than able to beat Kings at home and stay in the playoff race.

Our Pick: Jets on the Moneyline

New Jersey Devils @ St. Louis Blues

The reigning champions are in a bit of a rut at the moment. They have only won two games of their last 10 and they are on a 5-game losing streak. They even lost the top spot in the Western Conference to Dallas, after being on top for almost the entire season.

However, they are hosting New Jersey tonight, a team from the bottom of the Metropolitan Division. Although Devils are in better form with 5 wins in the last 10 games, Blues need this win a lot and they will fight hard to get out of their slump. We believe in them.

Florida Panthers @ San Jose Sharks

These two teams enter the match in different moods – Sharks are far away from the playoffs and they play without any pressure, which has led to solid form with 5 wins in the last 10 games. On the other hand, Panthers are trying to get into playoffs but they have been struggling lately with only 3 wins in the last 10 games.

Panthers can’t afford to lose more games from teams that are worse than they are in the standings, so this could be their last chance to get back into form and ensure the post-season berth. We are ready to support them.

Our Pick: Panthers on the Moneyline

Washington Capitals @ Vegas Golden Knights

Capitals have been the best team in the league for the most part but in the last month or so they have given up the top spot to Bruins and even Tampa Bay is not in front and in better position to fight for the 1st place. Capitals have gone 5-5 in the last 10 games, so they have been pretty inconsistent.

Meanwhile, Golden Knights are on a 2-game winning streak but they have also won 5 of their last 10 games. This match could go either way, so it’s best to bet on goals instead on the final score, especially since both teams are scoring at a high rate this season. In addition to this, their last five head-to-head matches have gone over as well.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Total Goals

Tampa Bay Lightning @ Colorado Avalanche

This is the most anticipated matchup tonight since both of these teams are in great shape at the moment. Lightning have gone on an incredible stretch of 22-2-1since the end of December and they are on a 10-game winning streak right now.

However, Colorado is 7-3 in the last 10 games, so they are hot as well, even though they have lost their last 2 games. We would once again avoid betting on final score and take under since both of these teams have gone under in the last 6 games they have played.

Dallas Stars @ Ottawa Senators

Stars are on a roll at the moment with 4 straight wins and with 7 wins in their last 10 games. They are only a point away from Blues, so they are fighting for the top spot in the Western Conference and home court advantage through the playoffs.

On the other hand, Senators are as bad as ever, with 2 wins in the last 10 games. This should be an easy win for Dallas, so we suggest taking them on the puckline.

Our Pick: Stars on the Puckline

St. Louis Blues @ Nashville Predators

The reingning champions are still holding the 1st place in the West but that is not in jeopardy after a string of bad results. Blues are on a 4-game losing streak and they have only won 2 of their last 10 games.

Meanwhile, Predators are sitting just outside the playoffs and need this win. They are 6-4 in the last 10 and their previous game was against the Blues as well, in which they won 4-3 in St. Louis. We believe they can win again in front of their fans.

Our Pick: Predators on the Moneyline

Columbus Blue Jackets @ New Jersey Devils

Devils are the worst team in the Metropolitan Division and the second worst team in the Eastern Conference. They have won 4 of their last 10 games, with 3 more overtime losses, so they are not in the worst form at the moment.

However, Blue Jackets are on a 4-game losing streak and they are risking their playoff berth because of it. They need this win but we aren’t confident enough they will get it. Bet on goals instead since this could be a low-scoring game.

Detroit Red Wings @ Boston Bruins

Detroit is the worst team in the league, they have only won 14 of their 59 games, they have only won 2 of their last 10 games and they are on a 2-game losing streak. It’s hard to put into words how bad they are this season.

And yet, they managed to beat Bruins a few games ago, the best team in the league, a team that has 8 wins in the last 10 games. Don’t expect that to happen again. If anything, Bruins will take them seriously now and probably get a convincing win.

Our Pick: Bruins on the Puckline

Edmonton Oilers @ Florida Panthers

Oilers have been a bit inconsistent lately but they still managed to win 6 of their last 10 games. They are a few points behind the top spot in the Pacific Division as well. On the other hand, Panthers are fighting for the playoffs but they have only won 4 of their last 10 games.

This is the game that could go either way, so it’s better to bet on goals than on total score. Both teams can score well and this should be a high-scoring game, so take over.

Our Pick: Over 6 Total Goals

Philadelphia Flyers @ Tampa Bay Lightning

Tampa Bay is playing so well since the end of December and they don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. They are also on a 9-game winning streak and repeating the last year’s success when they ended top of the league in regular season doesn’t seem that unlikely anymore.

However, Flyers are also in great form, with 7 wins in the last 10 games. And while we would still take Tampa Bay in this game, it is perhaps better to bet on goals since both teams score a lot of goals lately and over seems like a good choice.

Our Pick: Over 6 Total Goals

Toronto Maple Leafs @ Ottawa Senators

Senators are the second worst team in the east and they have been struggling lately as well since they only have won 3 games of their last 10. However, they did get the win in their last game against Coyotes a few days ago.

Meanwhile, Maple Leafs are having a good season and they are bound to make the playoffs. However, they have only won 5 games of their last 10 and they could use a win in this “local” derby. We believe they can get it.

Penguins are in the race for the top spot in the Metropolitan Division since they are now just 3 point behind Capitals. They have won 6 of their last 10 games and they seem to be in good form at the moment.

However, Canadiens have the same score in that time span but they are getting further away from the playoffs with each passing game. Penguins are one of the best home teams in the league and that should be enough to get them this win.

Our Pick: Penguins on the Moneyline

New York Rangers @ Columbus Blue Jackets

These two teams enter the game in very different moods – Rangers have won 3 games in a row, while Blue Jackets have lost as many games in a row. Columbus is also dealing with many injuries and while these results will hurt them, they are pretty much already in the playoffs.

Both teams have won 6 of their previous 10 games and while Rangers are playing well right now, they are still far out from the playoff picture. We believe that Blue Jackets can take the win tonight and break their losing streak.

Detroit Red Wings @ New Jersey Devils

Red Wings occasionally surprise us with a win or two, like they did a few days ago when they beat Bruins. But unfortunately for them and fortunately for us bettors, they slip into their losing habits quite quickly. With just 2 wins in the last 10 games, Red Wings are as usual in poor form.

And even though Devils are not that much better with 3 wins in the last 10 games and sitting on the bottom of the Metropolitan Division, they should get the win tonight in front of their fans against truly the worst team in the league.

Our Pick: Devils on the Puckline

Edmonton Oilers @ Tampa Bay Lightning

After a rocky start to the season, right before the New Year, Lightning started to play like a real contender. With 8 games in a row, Tampa Bay is now only a couple of wins behind Boston and they are fighting to repeat the success they had last season when they finished first in the regular season.

However, Oilers are also in good form with 6 wins in their last 10 games. They come into this game after winning two in a row but Tampa Bay is so impressive right now that we can’t expect anything else than another win.

Our Pick: Lightning on the Moneyline

New York Islanders @ Nashville Predators

Predators are in solid form, with 6 wins in their last 10 games. They are also fighting for the playoffs and every loss is one step further away from that goal.

On the other hand, Islanders are struggling at the moment. While they did get 5 wins in the last 10 games, they didn’t play well often and they seem far off their best form. Islanders should take advantae of their home court and get an important win.

Our Pick: Predators on the Moneyline

Washington Capitals @ Colorado Avalanche

Capitals are perhaps in their worst form this season, although they still have a record of 6-4 in their last 10 games. But they are on a 2-game losing streak and they have lost a few games very convincingly in this period.

Meanwhile, Avalanche are on fire after winning 6 games in a row and 8 of their last 10. While this should be an interesting and exiting duel, we expect Avalanche to confirm their great form with a big win over one of the best teams in the league.

Canadiens are in great form with 7 wins in their last 10 games but they are still out of the playoff picture. However, if they can keep the form up, they might be able to barely sneak in when the season ends.

Meanwhile, Bruins are fighting for the top spot before the playoffs. They have overtaken Capitals in the past few weeks but now they are only a point away from red-hot Tampa Bay. Bruins also have 7 wins in the last 10 games and with the help from their fans they should get a very important win tonight.

Our Pick: Bruins on the Puckline

Calgary Flames @ Los Angeles Kings

Flames have not been at their best lately since they have won just 4 of their last 10 games. Still, they are certainly making the playoffs this year and every win counts to get the better position before the post season.

Meanwhile, Kings are waiting for the season to end since they have no ambitions left. They have only 1 victory in the last 10 games and they are on a 5-game losing streak. That should extend after tonight as well.

Tampa Bay Lightning @ Pittsburgh Penguins

Tampa Bay survived the game against Blue Jackets after overtime and now they have 7 straight wins once again. Lightning have been red hot lately and they have come to just 3 points away from Bruins, the top team in the league.

However, Penguins are also playing well since they are 7-3 in their last 10 games. While we believe that Tampa can win this game, betting on over seems like a better choice since both of these teams score a lot of goals.

Our Pick: Over 6 Total Goals

Detroit Red Wings @ Buffalo Sabres

Red Wings have somehow managed to win two of their last three games, including a surprising win over Boston. Still, Detroit is the worst team in the league this season by far and they have only won 2 of their last 10 games.

Meanwhile, Sabres have also struggled lately with just 4 wins in their last 10 games. It’s safe to say by now that they won’t be going into the playoffs but they will certainly try to improve their record with a win over poor Red Wings.

Our Pick: Sabres on the Puckline

Florida Panthers @ New Jersey Devils

Panthers are on a 4-game losing streak and that is a big reason to worry since Florida is fighting for the playoffs and every point is important. On the other hand, Devils are far away from making the playoffs and they have struggled lately with only 4 wins in the last 10 games.

However, Devils have also won their last 2 games and playing without any pressure obviously has some advantages. Still, Panthers must win this game if they want to remain in the race and we believe they can do it.

Our Pick: Panthers on the Moneyline

Ottawa Senators @ Colorado Avalanche

Senators are the second-worst team in the East and they are on a 5-game losing streak at the moment. They are also struggling with injuries and the team looks like it can’t wait for the season to end.

Meanwhile, Avalanche is in great form. They have won their last 4 games and have 7 wins in their last 10 games. With the support from their fans, Avs shouldn’t have any problems tonight and we know they can get an easy, convincing win.

However, Islanders are also struggling with 4 wins in the last 10 games and they have fallen to the 4th place in the Metropolitan Division. With both teams out of form a bit, it’s hard to predict the winner. Instead, bet on over total goals since both teams score at a high rate.

Our Pick: Over 6 Total Goals

Tampa Bay Lightning @ Columbus Blue Jackets

Tampa Bay is one of the hottest teams in the league right now and they are now just 5 points away from the top spot in the league, a feat they already accomplished last regular season. They are on a 6-game winning streak and they won 8 of their last 10 games.

Like Tampa Bay, Blue Jackets also have 8 wins in the last 10 games. But they have lost their last game to Avalanche and they have serious injury problems. We would take Lightning in this one but we would also bet on over if you don’t want to bet on the final score.

Our Pick: Lightning on the Moneyline

Nashville Predators @ Vancouver Canucks

Both of these teams have 5 wins in the last 10 games but Canucks have overall been the better team this season since they are 1st in the Pacific Division, while Predators will have to go on a serious winning streak in order to make the playoffs.

However, Canucks have lost 4 games in a row and they don’t seem able to break this losing streak. Predators are favorites tonight and that could be a good chance to get great value on Canucks, who we believe can get the much-needed win in front of their fans.

Our Pick: Canucks on the Moneyline

Boston Bruins @ Detroit Red Wings

There isn’t much to say about this game since it is a duel of one of the best teams in the league with the worst team in NHL. Red Wings have won just 1 game of their last 10 and they only won 13 games in 56 games they have played.

Meanwhile, Bruins are on top of the entire league at the moment with 80 points from 56 games. They are also on a 6-game winning streak. Bruins should get a comfortable win tonight.

Our Pick: Bruins on the Puckline

Los Angeles Kings @ New York Rangers

Kings have been in a very bad form lately since they only managed to win once in their last 10 games. In fact, they have been bad the entire season since they have the second-worst record in the entire league right now.

And while Rangers are far from a playoff spot and have their own issues, they are also 5-5 in their last 10 games. With help from their fans, they should get another win this evening, perhaps even cover the puckline.

Our Pick: Rangers on the Moneyline

Colorado Avalanche @ Minnesota Wild

Both of these teams have been playing well lately – they are both on a 3-game winning streak and have won 6 of their last 10 games. Wild are still hoping that they can make the playoffs but that seems like an impossible mission right now.

Avalanche is 2nd in the Central Division and they are trying to secure the best position possible before the start of the post-season. The final score in this game should be avoided but this should also be a high-scoring game. Both teams have been scoring a lot of goals lately and even their season averages suggest that over is a good choice.

New York Islanders @ Tampa Bay Lightning

Tampa Bay is on a 5-game winning streak. Lightning have also won 7 of their last 10 games and they have been in fantastic form over the past 2 months. Now they are only 5 points behind Bruins, the top team in the league at the moment.

On the other hand, Islanders have been struggling lately with just 4 wins in their last 10 games. However, they are on a 2-game winning streak right now. Still, Tampa Bay should win this game and cover the spread as well.

Our Pick: Lightning on the Puckline

Toronto Maple Leafs @ Montreal Canadiens

Maple Leafs have been solid lately since they have won 5 of their last 10 games. They are fighting for the playoffs, just like their opponents who are 6 points behind. Canadiens are still in the race, although they have a lot more ground to cover. But they have won 7 of their last 10, so they are in good form.

This will probably be a very close game and we would avoid betting on the final score. Instead, we suggest betting on goals. Both teams average a bit over 3 goals per game, so over seems like a good choice.

Our Pick: Over 6 Total Goals

Philadelphia Flyers @ Washington Capitals

After a long time, Capitals are now looking another team in the back in the standings. Bruins have overtaken Capitals as the top team in the league by one point and this will be a very interesting race. Capitals are 6-4 in their last 10, the same score as Flyers in that span.

And while Capitals are fighting for the top spot, Flyers are in a dogfight to make the playoffs. We expect Capitals to win but we are more comfortable with betting on goals. Both teams score at a high rate and over looks solid in this one.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Total Goals

Dallas Stars @ St. Louis Blues

Both of these teams are struggling lately, with 4 wins in the last 10 games for each of them. But they are also some of the best teams in the Western Conference and this match can make the standings more clear since Blues could get even further away with a win.

We do expect St. Louis to win tonight but we feel that under total goals is a smarter play. While these teams average a bit over 6 goals together, they both have strong defenses. With the pressure high, we feel this will be a low-scoring game.

Detroit Red Wings @ Columbus Blue Jackets

Red Wings finally broke their losing streak after 9 straight losses with a win after penalties in Buffalo. The game was played last night, so Red Wings will probably struggle to stay fresh tonight, especially since they are dealing with a lot of injuries.

On the other hand, Jackets are in a great form, with 8 wins in their last 10 games. They are also rested since they didn’t play last night. With all that taken into account, it would be a huge surprise if Red Wings avoid a convincing defeat.

Our Pick: Blue Jackets on the Puckline

Anaheim Ducks @ Toronto Maple Leafs

Maple Leafs are not in great form, with 4 wins in their last 10 games. They are also on a 2-game losing streak and they really need a win tonight to consolidate since they are a playoff team at the moment. On the other hand, Ducks are far from playoffs but they did win 5 of their last 10 games.

Betting on Leafs should be ok but it is perhaps better to bet on goals here. Ducks average around 2.5 goals per game but they have scored at least 3 goals in their last 4 games. Toronto scores 3.6 goals per game, so this could be a good game to bet on over.

Flyers are red hot at the moment since they have won 7 of their last 10 games. While they are still not completely safe, they seem to be on the right track to make the playoffs this season. And their next match seems like a perfect opportunity to extend their 2-game winning streak.

Devils have the second-worst score in the Eastern Conference and they are on a 3-game losing streak. They have also won just 3 of their last 10 games, so Flyers are unlikely to have any problems with them.

Our Pick: Flyers on the Puckline

Pittsburgh Penguins @ Tampa Bay Lightning

Both of these teams are in great form – Penguins have won 8, Lightning 7 of their last 10 games. In addition to this, Tampa Bay has won 2, while Penguins have won 4 games in a row. With that in mind, this should be a very interesting and exciting game.

It is best to stay away from the final score, although we do believe that Lightning can win the game. But since both of these teams are great offensively, we suggest betting on over for total goals.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Total Goals

Detroit Red Wings @ Buffalo Sabres

Red Wings celebrate each victory this season like a miracle because they come as often as that. They have won just 12 games the entire season and they are again on a big losing streak, spanning 9 games this time.

And while Sabres are having problems of their own since they are getting further away from the playoffs thanks to their poor form, they should have no problem tonight. They need to win this game if they want to stay in the race.

Our Pick: Sabres on the Puckline

Colorado Avalanche @ Ottawa Senators

Senators are one of the worst teams in the East, along with Red Wings and Devils. They are a on a 3-game losing streak now and they have won just 2 of their last 10 games. Colorado has 5 wins in the last 10 games, so they are not exactly breaking any records either.

Still, they are practically already in the playoffs and they are fighting for a better position. Senators also deal with many injuries but even in full health Avalanche is the better team.

Toronto is still in the playoff picture in the East but they need to avoid any surprises against teams with poor records. Leafs have only won 4 of their last 10 games and had some unpleasant outings against teams similar to Rangers.

Meanwhile, Rangers are 6-4 in their last 10 games but two of those wins came against the poor Red Wings. And although Toronto will be without their star goalie Frederik Andersen, they should still come out on top tonight.

Our Pick: Maple Leafs on the Moneyline

Boston Bruins @ Chicago Blackhawks

Blackhawks have improved a lot lately and they have entered into the playoff race in the West. They have now won 6 of their last 10 games and seem to be in solid form. However, Bruins are on a 4-game winning streak and have won 7 of their last 10 games.

Both teams played last night as well, so they should be equally tired. However, Bruins got a convincing 4-0 against Canucks last night, while Blackhawks lost in overtime to Minnesota. With Bruins in better form and with them being a better team, betting on them tonight is worth a shot.

Capitals are still holding the top spot in the league, which is something they managed to do for the majority of the regular season. However, a few teams are breathing down their necks, so they need to keep going if they want to stay there. They are 6-4 in the last 10 games and not in the best form.

Still, they are hosting Los Angeles Kings tonight, a team that has just 2 wins in the last 10 games. Kings are last in the Western Conference as well, so Capitals should have no problems tonight.

Our Pick: Capitals on the Puckline

Vegas Golden Knights @ Tampa Bay Lightning

Tampa Bay is one of the best teams in the league in the past couple of months and they have managed to get into the fight for the best score even though they were pretty inconsistent in the first half of the season. Now, they are on a 3-game winning streak once again and they have won 7 of their last 10 games.

On the other hand, Vegas is fighting to get into the playoffs. They have won their last 2 games but they have won just 4 of their last 10 games. Lightning seems to be a clear favorite in this one and you can even try them on the puckline.

Our Pick: Lightning on the Moneyline

Dallas Stars @ New York Islanders

This should be a very interesting duel since both of these teams are in the playoff picture right now but they need to keep winning to stay there. Stars have won 6 of their last 10 games, while Islanders have 4 wins in the same span.

We would avoid betting on the final score here, although we believe that Stars can get the win tonight. Instead, we would bet on over total goals despite the fact that these teams don’t have impressive offenses. However, Stars have scored 3 or more goals in 4 straight games, while Islanders have done it in 3 of their last 4 games. With total set at 5 goals, we believe over is the way to go.

Our Pick: Over 5 Total Goals

Nashville Predators @ Winnipeg Jets

There is just one point difference between these two teams that are fighting for the playoffs. Unfortunately for Jets, they are struggling with many injuries, which is why they are 3-7 in their last 10 games, while Predators are 5-5.

While Predators seem like a safer pick in this one, perhaps it is better to bet on goals. Both of these teams score and allow plenty of goals, with Jets going over in 4 of their last 6 and Predators going over in 13 of their last 20 games.

On the other hand, Stars are 2nd in the Central Division and they are fighting for the better position before the playoffs. They are also 6-4 in the last 10 games but we expect them to get the win in New York tonight.

Our Pick: Stars on the Moneyline

Philadelphia Flyers @ Detroit Red Wings

Detroit Red Wings are without a doubt the worst team in the NHL this season. They have only won 12 out of 53 games and they are, once again, on an 8-game losing streak. Meanwhile, Flyers have won 6 of their last 10 games and they are fighting to make the playoffs in the East.

There is no doubt that Flyers will win tonight, especially since Red Wings are also struggling with injuries at the moment. We also believe that Flyers can take Detroit on the puckline in this game.

With that in mind, we suggest betting on goals instead on the final score. These teams are among the top scoring teams in the league and in their last head-to-head they combined for 8 goals Take over in this game.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Total Goals

Vancouver Canucks @ Carolina Hurricanes

Canucks are in a great form, with 5 straight wins and a score of 7-3 in their last 10 games. Thanks to their recent form, they have overtaken the top spot in the Pacific Division. On the other hand, Hurricanes have won 5 of their last 10 and they are in desperate need of wins to get into the playoffs.

We were a bit surprised to see that Hurricanes are the favorites in this one since Canucks are playing so well. That’s why we would go with Canucks on the moneyline but you can also try them on the puckline if you want to play it safe.

The defending champions are still 1st in the Western Conference but they are not in their best form. They have won just 5 games of their last 10 and even lost 4 of their last 5, including the game last night against Oilers.

However, Jets are on an even worse run since they have only won 3 of their last 10 games. They are also on a 5-game losing streak as well. While this could be an interesting and close duel, we expect Blues to get the win tonight.

Our Pick: Blues on the Moneyline

New York Rangers @ Detroit Red Wings

These two teams played last night in New York, where Rangers got the 4-2 win. Since Red Wings are the worst team in the league this season, we expect the same to happen tonight. Red Wings have now lost 7 games in a row but this is one of many losing streaks they had this season.

And while Rangers are not a playoff team either, they should take advantage of this second game against Detroit to improve their record a little bit.

Our Pick: Rangers on the Moneyline

Dallas Stars @ New Jersey Devils

New Jersey Devils are at the bottom of the standings in the Metropolitan Division and that is unlikely to change in the future. They have only won 3 games of their last 10, so they are not in good form. On the other hand, Stars are 6-4 in the last 10 but they have also lost their last game.

Dallas is 3rd in the Central Division and while they are not in spectacular form, they are clear-cut favorites for tonight. We expect them to justify that tag.

Our Pick: Stars on the Moneyline

Vegas Golden Knights @ Nashville Predators

Both of these teams are in a difficult fight to make the playoffs in the West. Golden Knights are in a bit better position since they have 4 points more than Predators but this will be a tight race until the end. Predators have won 5, Knights have won 4 of their last 10 games.

It seems that this should be a very close match and we would avoid betting on the final score. Instead, you should bet on under since these teams are not the best in league when it comes to scoring goals. And while they both allow a bit over 3 goals per game, we think the importance of the game will make the teams more cautious.

Red Wings have cemented the last place in the league a long time ago but they still have to play until the end. They are now on a 6-game losing streak and have only won 2 games in the last 10.

However, Rangers have not been a lot better this season. They have the 3rd-worst score in the East and they have 4 wins in the last 10 games. But even though they are not good, they are much better than Red Wings, especially since Detroit also deals with numerous injuries at the moment.

Our Pick: Rangers on the Puckline

Washington Capitals @ Ottawa Senators

Capitals are arguably the best team in the NHL this season. They are currently in 1st in the NHL. They are also 7-3 in the last 10 games but they saw their 4-game winning streak snapped after a 4-5 home loss against Predators on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Senators have the 3rd worst record in the East but they are coming off a 5-2 road win over Sabres.

Despite this, Senators have only won 2 of their last 10 games and they are no match for Capitals when it comes to quality. Take Washington on the puckline here.

Our Pick: Capitals on the Puckline

St. Louis Blues @ Edmonton Oilers

Both of these teams are in similar forms – Blues have won 5 of their last 10 games, Oilers have won 6 games in the same span. However, the reigning champions are in better from this season overall and they are fighting for the top spot before the playoffs.

While we lean towards Blues, we would still avoid betting on the final score. Instead, we suggest betting on over since both teams have been playing with a lot of goals lately. Blues have gone over in 5 of their last 7 games, Oilers have gone over in 4 of the last 6.

Devils have 4 wins in the last 10 games.

These are very similar teams in terms of quality, so we would stay away from predicting the final score. But these two teams are often very efficient when it comes to goals since Predators have gone over in 12 of their last 18 games, while Devils have gone over in 11 of 16 last games.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Total Goals

Los Angeles Kings @ Arizona Coyotes

Coyotes are not in good form since they are on a 3-game losing streak. They also have only 4 wins in the last 10 games and they will have to fight for the playoffs with a few other teams who are very close to them now.

However, Kings are on an even worse losing streak, spanning 5 games. This will also be their second game of back-to-back after the loss to Tampa Bay. This seems like a perfect opportunity for Coyotes to break their losing streak and start winning again.

Given how consistent Capitals have been the entire season, which is why they are currently 1st in the NHL standings, we expect them to get another win tonight against the struggling Predators.

Our Pick: Capitals on the Moneyline

Tampa Bay Lightning @ Los Angeles Kings

Although Tampa Bay has 7 wins in the last 10 games, they have lost their first game after the break. The loss came in Dallas against Stars in overtime. Lightning will be looking to get right back on the winning track and the game against Kings seems like a perfect opportunity.

Kings have been bad the entire season, which is why they are last in the Western Conference. They have only won 3 of their last 10 games and they are on a 4-game losing streak. Lightning should win easily tonight.

Our Pick: Lightning on the Puckline

Vancouver Canucks @ San Jose Sharks

Canucks are in great form, with 7 wins in the last 10 games. They have also won their last 3 games in a row. On the other hand, Sharks have mostly struggled this season and they will certainly miss the playoffs.

However, Sharks have won 5 of their last 10 games and this could be a tricky game for Canucks. That’s why we would rather bet on goals. Canucks have allowed a around 1.2 goals in their last 5 games and Sharks often play good defense at home. Take the under in this one.

Sabres are 5-5 in their last 10 games and while they are unlikely to make the playoffs, they still have chances to do so. But they need to get wins and this game looks like a perfect opportunity to get them rolling.

Our Pick:  Senators on the Puckline

St. Louis Blues @ Calgary Flames

Blues were in a bit of a bad form before the All-Star break and that continued last night since they have lost to Canucks in Vancouver. They are now on a 3-game losing streak and they have only won 4 games of their last 10.

Flames are in a bit of a better form, with 6 wins in the last 10 games. And while St. Louis was one of the best away teams in the league for a long time, they have lost 5 games in a row away from home. Flames are on a 3-game winning streak at home, so we would give them advantage in this one.

The All-Star break is over and NHL is going full speed ahead. With around 30 games for each team left in regular season, the playoff races are getting interesting. Capitals don’t really have that problem since they will certainly be in the playoffs but they will try to get the top seed in the East since they are currently just one point ahead of Bruins.

Capitals are 6-4 in their last 10 games but they went on a winning streak of 3 games just before the break. Canadiens have also won their last 2 games before the break but they have been on a bad run before that since they only have 4 wins in the last 10 games. Capitals have been pretty consistent this season and we expect them to win this game.

Our Pick: Capitals on the Moneyline

Tampa Bay Lightning @ Dallas Stars

Both of these teams were in great form before the All-Star break. Lightning have won 8 of their previous 10 games and after struggling early in the season, they have been on fire in the past couple of months. Stars followed the same path but they were even worse at the start of the season. Now they are 3rd in the Central Division and they have won 7 of their last 10 games.

While Stars are a good team, Lightning has been playing as good as they did last season when they claimed the top spot for the playoffs. That, coupled with the fact that Stars lost their previous t 2 games, is enough for us to back Lightning in this game.

Our Pick: Lightning on the Moneyline

St. Louis Blues @ Vancouver Canucks

This is another interesting duel between Blues, who are first in the Central Division, and Canucks, who are 1st in the Pacific Division. Canucks have been in a bit better form before the break, with 7 wins in last 10 games. Blues have won 5 in the same span but they are currently on a 2-game losing streak.

We feel that betting on the final score in this one is not prudent, so we suggest betting on under instead. Although both of these teams average a bit over 3 goals per game, their defenses allow less than 3 goals.

Winnipeg Jets @ Columbus Blue Jackets

Blue Jackets are one of the hottest teams in the league at the moment. They are on a 5-game winning streak and they have won 8 of their last 10 games. Thanks to this run, they are now in playoff contention even though it seemed impossible a month ago.

On the other hand, Jets are on a downward spiral. They have won just 3 games in their last 10 and they are on a 3-game losing streak, including the loss last night in Carolina. This being the second game of back-to-back doesn’t work in their favor, especially since they also have a lot of injuries to deal with.

Our Pick: Blue Jackets on the Puckline

Detroit Red Wings @ Minnesota Wild

If you bet against Red Wings regularly this season, you have surely made some money. Detroit is now on a 5-game losing streak once again and they are certainly going to finish the season on the last place in the league.

And while Minnesota is on a bad run as well and also has just 3 wins in their last 10 games like Red Wings, we expect them to take advantage of their home court and get the win tonight.

Our Pick: Wild on the Puckline

Winnipeg Jets @ Carolina Hurricanes

Jets are in bad form at the moment, with just 4 wins in their last 10 games. However, Hurricanes are not much better since they have 5 wins in the last 10 games. But Hurricanes have won their previous game, while Jets are on a 2-game losing streak.

And while these two teams are pretty similar in quality, the reason why we suggest betting on Hurricanes are injury problems that have plagued Jets recently.

Our Pick: Hurricanes on the Moneyline

Vegas Golden Knights @ Boston Bruins

Golden Knights have been pretty inconsistent lately, with 5 wins in their last 10 games. However, Bruins are also not in their best form since they have only won 4 of their last 10.

While we still believe Bruins can get the win tonight, we would rather bet on goals. Both teams can score a lot of goals, with Vegas scoring an average of 3.12 and Bruins scoring 3.32 goals per game. Over seems like a good choice in this game.

Our Pick: Over 6 Total Goals

Pittsburgh Penguins @ Philadelphia Flyers

Penguins are one of the hottest teams in the league at the moment. They have won 7 of their last 10 and they are on a 2-game winning streak right now. On the other hand, Flyers have been struggling lately with 4 wins in their last 10 games, which is why they are in danger of missing the playoffs.

While Flyers did get the win in their previous game and they will have a strong motive for tonight, Penguins are on fire and we always like to bet on in-form teams.

Detroit Red Wings @ Colorado Avalanche

Avalanche are looking a bit better after their 2 straight wins but they still have won just 4 games of their last 10. Despite the recent bad form, they are 2nd in the Central Division, only trailing behind St. Louis.

On the other hand, Red Wings are on another losing streak, with 4 straight losses. They have also won only 3 games in the last 10 and it seems that their bad form will continue tonight. Avalanche will not miss the opportunity to improve their record against the worst team in the league.

Our Pick: Avalanche on the Puckline

Florida Panthers @ Minnesota Wild

Wild has fallen behind after they had a stretch of good games for a month or so. Now they are once again on a 2-game winning streak but they have only won 4 of their last 10 games. Still, they have some chances to make the playoffs if they manage to go on an amazing streak.

Panthers are in much better situation and in much better form. They have won 7 of their last 10 and they are on a 4-game winning streak. Still, we would avoid the final score in this one and bet on over since both teams have been on an offensive tear lately. For example, Panthers have scored 4.6 goals per game in their last 5 games.

Penguins are in better from than Boston at the moment with 7 wins in last 10 games. Bruins, on the other hand, have 5 wins in their last 10 games. Still, this game should be very close and while we lean towards Penguins, we would avoid betting on the final score.

Instead, we like the fact that both teams have strong offenses and score around 3.3 goals per game. And while games between such great teams often end up low in goals, we expect this one to go over.

Our Pick: Over 6 Total Goals

New York Islanders @ Carolina Hurricanes

Both of these teams are struggling at the moment. Islanders are on a 2-game losing streak, while Hurricanes lost 3 games in a row. However, both teams are still in the playoff contention and this could be a very important game for them.

This will be the second game of back-to-back for Islanders, so they could be a bit tired. Also, Hurricanes have won the last 6 head-to-head matches, so our money is on Carolina.

St. Louis Blues @ Colorado Avalanche

Avalanche finally managed to get a win and break their 4-game losing streak. They still have only 3 wins in their last 10 games but at least they showed they can still play the game. Blues have won 6 of their last 10 games and they are in solid form.

While we lean towards Blues in this one, we are not so confident in them. Instead, we suggest betting on over since both teams score more than 3 goals per game and they combined for 7 or more goals in their previous two games this season.

Our Pick: Over 6 Total Goals

Calgary Flames @ Ottawa Senators

Senators are on a worst streak in the NHL right now, with 9 games lost in a row. Only Red Wings have the worse score than Senators in the entire league this season. On the other hand, Flames have won 7 of their last 10 games and they are currently 1st in the Pacific Division.

With Flames in such a great form and fighting for the better spot in the playoffs, this is a must-win game for them considering how poor Senators have been lately.

Our Pick: Flames on the Moneyline

Los Angeles Kings@ Philadelphia Flyers

Kings are in poor form with 3 wins in their last 10 games. They are also on a 3-game losing streak and they have given up any hope that they could make the playoffs this year. On the other hand, Flyers are fighting for the playoffs and winning tonight could mean a great step in that direction.

Although Flyers are not in the best form either with 4 wins in the last 10 games, they will play in front of their fans and we expect that to give them a bit of a boost.

Our Pick: Flyers on the Moneyline

San Jose Sharks @ Vancouver Canucks

Canucks are one of the hottest teams in the league at the moment. They have won 7 of their last 10 games, although they are 3-3 in their last 6 after they ended their 7-game winning streak. Still, that is not a bad score for them since they were on a 5-game road trip.

Now they are back at home and they will host San Jose. Sharks are on a 2-game losing streak but they did win 5 of their last 10 games. Despite this, we expect Vancouver to get the win tonight.

Hurricanes have lost two games in a row and they are now 5-5 in their last 10 games. Obviously, they are not in the best form but they are still 7th in the Eastern Conference. They need to start winning though if they want to remain in the playoff spot.

On the other hand, Ducks have given up on the playoffs some time ago. They share the last position in the West with Kings and they have only won 3 of their last 10 games. Hurricanes have the perfect opportunity to get out of their slump tonight and we believe they will take it.

Our Pick: Hurricanes on the Puckline

Pittsburgh Penguins @ Detroit Red Wings

Red Wings are dead-last in the league and they have been the worst team in the NHL this season by far. They have won 3 games in their last 10 and that is actually a solid result for them this season.

On the other hand, Penguins are one of the hottest teams in the league right now with 7 wins in last 10 games. Anything other than a convincing win for Penguins would be a huge surprise here.

New Jersey Devils @ Washington Capitals

Both of these teams have 5 wins in their last 10 games but Capitals are on top of the Metropolitan Division while Devils are on the bottom. However, Devils managed to get two impressive wins in their last 3 games, against these same Capitals and the red-hot Tampa Bay.

That being said, Capitals will certainly look for revenge tonight and since they will be playing at home, they will most probably get it.

Our Pick: Capitals on the Puckline

Pittsburgh Penguins @ Boston Bruins

Bruins are not in their best form, with 5 wins in their last 10 games. They have also lost 2 games in a row before tonight and now they are facing one of the hottest teams in the league. Penguins have won 8 of their last 10 games and they are on a 4-game winning streak.

So, this should be a close duel and while we lean toward Penguins, we wouldn’t put our money on it. Instead, we suggest betting on over since both teams score plenty of goals – Penguins around 3.5 per game and Bruins around 3.

Our Pick: Over 6 Total Goals

Vegas Golden Knights @ Ottawa Senators

Golden Knights are in poor form and they are in risk of missing the playoffs because of it. After their latest 4-game losing streak, they also fired their head coach. So, it’s safe to say that they are a mess right now.

But luckily for them, Senators are one of the worst teams in the league this season and they are on an even worse, 8-game losing streak. They also have injury problems and we expect Vegas to snap out of their problems after the coaching change and get the win tonight.

Our Pick: Golden Knights on the Moneyline

Tampa Bay Lightning @ Minnesota Wild

Tampa Bay got back on the winning track after a surprise loss to Devils and now they are 9-1 in their last 10 games. On the other hand, Minnesota is in a rut with just 3 wins in the last 10 games. Wild are also on a 4-game losing streak and they have gone back to the bottom of the Central Division after being in playoff contention for a while.

With Minnesota in poor form and Lightning playing as well as they do, we really can’t suggest anything else than backing Tampa Bay in this one.

Chicago Blackhawks @ Montreal Canadiens

This should be a very close duel since both teams enter the game after two straight wins. However, Blackhawks are generally in a bit better form since they have won 6 of thier last 10, while the last two wins for Canadiens came after they have lost the previous 8.

With that in mind, we find it hard to predict the winner. It is perhaps better to bet on goals since these two teams often go under in their head-to-head matches. In fact, these two teams combined for 6 goals only once in their last 6 duels.

Our Pick: Under 6 Total Goals

Philadelphia Flyers @ St. Louis Blues

The reigning champions are in great form, with 7 wins in their last 10 games. They are also on a 4-game losing streak and they are one of the three teams that seem separated in the fight for the 1st place in the league.

On the other hand, Flyers have only won 4 of their last 10 games and they will miss their starting goalie Carter Hart tonight, so Blues should have no problems in this one.

Detroit Red Wings @ New York Islanders

Red Wings are the worst team in the league and they are 3-7 in their last 10 games. However, they did win 2 games of their last 3 but that is probably the longest streak they can pull off this season. On the other hand, Islanders are not in a great form since they have only won 4 games of their last 10 but they are still 3rd in the Metropolitan Division.

Despite their current woes, Islanders are way better team than Red Wings and they should not have any problems tonight.

Our Pick: Islanders on the Puckline

Los Angeles Kings @ Tampa Bay Lightning

After their impressive 10-game winning streak, Lightning have finally lost to Devils when we least expected them to, against one of the worst teams in the league. Now they will be looking to get back on the winning track against Kings, who are 3-7 in their last 10 games.

Given the fact that Tampa Bay is in fantastic form and that Kings are struggling to win games, we expect this to be an easy victory for the host.

Our Pick: Lightning on the Puckline

Vegas Golden Knights @ Buffalo Sabres

Golden Knights are on a bad run since they have lost their last 3 games in a row. Now they have a score of 5-5 in their last 10 games. However, Sabres are not in much better form since they have only won 4 of their last 10 games.

Since Vegas has a better score in their head-to-head matches lately with 3 wins in the last 4 matches, we expect them to get out of the rut tonight and show that they are one of the better teams in the league.

Our Pick: Golden Knights on the Moneyline

Dallas Stars @ Colorado Avalanche

Dallas Stars are only one point above Avalanche in the standings, so this should be one of the more interesting duels of the night. However, Stars are also in a much better form since they have won 7 of their last 10 games, while Avalanche only has 3 wins in that span.

Despite this fact, we expect this to be a very close duel and we would avoid betting on the final score. Betting on total goals could also be tricky since the last five games between these teams have gone under but Avalanche has gone over in 4 of their last 5 games. Still, both teams are solid defensively and we would rather back under tonight.

Buffalo Sabres @ Detroit Red Wings

Red Wings are on a 2-game winning streak, which is always a surprise when it happens during this season considering the fact that they have won only 12 games total. However, they have a good chance to improve that streak since they will host Sabres tonight, who are 3-7 in their last 10 games, just like Detroit.

So, we would suggest avoiding the final score in this one. Instead, focus on goals and bet on under since both teams are pretty bad in offense this season.

Our Pick: Under 6 Total Goals

Pittsburgh Penguins @ Arizona Coyotes

Coyotes have lost the top spot in the Pacific Division to Flames after going 5-5 in their last 10 games and after losing their two previous games in a row. They are not in great form, unlike Penguins who have won 7 of their last 10 games.

Penguins are also on a 2-game winning streak and they are certainly in better form. We believe that this is enough to help them get over Coyotes tonight.

Our Pick: Penguins on the Moneyline

Tampa Bay Lightning @ New Jersey Devils

Tampa Bay is not stopping any time soon it seems. Lightning is on a 10-game winning streak and they have reminded us all why they were 1st in the NHL last year at the end of the regular season. On the other hand, Devils are on the bottom of the Metropolitan Division and they are likely to stay there until the end.

However, Devils have won 5 of their last 10 games, including a win over heavy-favorites Capitals last night. But it is hard to expect that Devils can give us two great performances in back-to-back games.

Hurricanes are on a 2-game winning streak and they have won 5 of their last 10 games. It seems like they are going to get into the playoffs but they will need to keep up the solid form. On the other hand, Kings are struggling lately with just 3 wins in their last 10 games.

All that said, a victory for Hurricanes look certain. However, the odds are not great on moneyline, so we would take a bit of a risk and back Carolina on the puckline.

Our Pick: Hurricanes on the Puckline

Tampa Bay Lightning @ Philadelphia Flyers

Get on the bandwagon, Tampa Bay is on fire! After struggling for a long time this season, Lightning are now on a 9-game winning streak and they have climbed all the way to the 2nd place in Atlantic Division.

And while Flyers are playing well too, with 5 wins in their last games, we always like to bet on in-form teams. In addition to this, Tampa Bay won the last 5 head-to-head matches between these two teams and we expect that streak to keep going tonight.

Our Pick: Lightning on the Moneyline

New Jersey Devils @ Washington Capitals

Capitals still have the best record in the league, although a few teams have come very close to them recently. They are 6-4 in their last 10 games and they will be looking to bounce back after losing to Flyers in their last outing.

Playing against Devils seems like the perfect opportunity for it since New Jersey is on a 3-game losing streak and they are firmly at the bottom of the Metropolitan Division.

Our Pick: Capitals on the Puckline

New York Rangers @ St. Louis Blues

The reigning champs are in great form with 7 wins in their last 10 games. They are also on a 2-game winning streak and they are only a couple of points behind Capitals, so they need to keep winning in order to get the top spot for the playoffs.

On the other hand, Rangers are pretty far from the playoff spot, although they have won their last two games and they are 5-5 in the last 10. Still, this should be an easy win for Blues.

On the other hand, Hurricanes have the same score in the last 10 games but they have won their last game against Flyers. So, this seems like a very hard game to predict the winner. Instead, you should focus on goals and bet on under since both teams are in the top 10 defenses this season.

Our Pick: Under 5.5 Total Goals

Pittsburgh Penguins @ Colorado Avalanche

Penguins are one of the hottest teams right now, with 7 wins in their last 10 games. They are sharing 3rd place in the Eastern Conference with Islanders and they are making a push for it before the playoffs. On the other hand, Colorado has been struggling lately, with just 3 wins in the last 10 games.

Avalanche are also on a 2-game losing streak and they will be looking to get out of their bad run tonight. While Avalanche is a good team, Penguins are in great form and we believe it is worth taking a flyer on them tonight.

Bruins are not in their best form since they have only won 4 games of their last 10 but they are still one of the best teams in the league with 61 points. Jets are also on a bit of a bad run with the same score in the last 10 but they have won two games in a row now.

While we expect Boston to win this game, it may not be convincing enough for them to cover the puckline. With that in mind, betting on under seems like a smarter choice since Boston is a great defensive team, especially at home.

Our Pick: Under 6 Total Goals

Arizona Coyotes @ Tampa Bay Lightning

Tampa Bay is on fire right now and they finally look like the team that ended the last regular season on top of the league. They have won 8 games in a row, including a convincing 9-2 win over Canucks, who were on 7-game winning streak of their own before that game.

But Coyotes are 1st in Pacific Division and a tough matchup for Lightning since they have won 4 out of their last 6 head-to-head matches. They are also on a 4-game winning streak, so this should be a close match. Still, Lightning have an incredible momentum and we expect them to take advantage of it.

Our Pick: Lightning on the Moneyline

Buffalo Sabres @ St. Louis Blues

The reigning champions are firmly holding the 1st place in the Western Conference and they are in great form with 7 wins in their last 10 games. On the other hand, Sabres have just 3 wins in their last 10 games but they have won two in a row before this game.

Despite that winning streak, Sabres are clearly the inferior team of the two and Blues should have no problems against them tonight.

Our Pick: Blues on the Puckline

Dallas Stars @ Anaheim Ducks

Stars are one of the hottest teams in the league at the moment, with 5 wins in a row and 7 wins in last 10 games. On the other hand, Ducks only have 3 wins in their last 10 games and they have practically given up on any playoff aspirations.

Despite the fact that this is the second game of back-to-back for Dallas and that they are not that great away from home, Ducks should not be a huge threat to them.

Capitals are also one of the best and most consistent teams this season and they will be more rested for tonight since Flyers played an overtime game last night, while Capitals had an easy job in their 6-1 win over Senators.

Our Pick: Capitals on the Moneyline

Dallas Stars @ Los Angeles Kings

Stars are in good form since they have won 6 of their last 10 games. They are also on a 4-game winning streak right now and seem poised to make a run for a better position before the playoffs. On the other hand, Kings have given up on any playoff dreams because they are last in the Western Conference.

Kings are on a 2-game losing streak as well and they have just 4 wins in last 10 games. Stars have also been the better team in head-to-head matches against Kings recently since they have won 4 of their 5 latest duels.

Vancouver and Tampa Bay share the longest active winning streak in the NHL with 7 wins in a row but one of these teams will see their streak broken tonight. Lightning is a bit more successful in head-to-head lately, with 6 wins in their last 10 duels.

Still, this should be a close game and while we expect Lightning to come up with the win, we believe betting on goals is a safer bet. Both teams score around 3.5 goals per game this season and over seems like a smart bet.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Total Goals

Philadelphia Flyers @ Carolina Hurricanes

Both of these teams are 5-5 in their last 10 games, so they enter this one in a fairly similar mood. They are also only one point apart in the standings, so it seems that these two teams are as evenly matched as possible.

With that in mind, we suggest to try out goals in this game. Both teams score over 3 goals per game and while they have been struggling to score in recent games, especially Carolina, we believe that this can be a high-scoring game.

Our Pick: Over 6 Total Goals

Ottawa Senators @ Washington Capitals

Senators have been poor the entire season and nothing is changed in that respect recently since they are currently on a 4-game losing streak and they have only won 3 games of their last 10.

On the other hand, Capitals have been on top of the league for most of the season and they have won 6 games of their last 10. They are also on a 2-game winning streak and the winner of this game should not come in question.

Our Pick: Capitals on the Puckline

Montreal Canadiens @ Detroit Red Wings

Red Wings are still dead last in the league and they have been the worst team in the league this season without a doubt. They have only won 2 games of their last 10 as well. On the other hand, Canadiens have been playing well before but they have been appalling in the last month or so.

They are on a 6-game losing streak at the moment and they have won just 3 games of their last 10. This seems like a perfect opportunity for them to break out of this bad run.

On the other hand, Avalanche have the same score in that span but they come into this game with 2 straight wins.

This should be a very close duel but we like this Avalanche team and we believe they can do much more than they showed us so far, despite the fact that they are 3rd in the Western Conference. Back Colorado on the moneyline in this one.

Our Pick: Avalanche on the moneyline

Winnipeg Jets @ Montreal Canadiens

Both of these teams are having it tough right now since they have only won 3 games out of their last 10. It seems that Canadiens have it a bit worse since they are also on a 5-game losing streak, while Jets have 2 lost games in a row.

It’s hard to predict the winner here since both teams are playing poorly, so it is probably better to try your luck on goals. Over is where you should look sine the total went over in 8 of the last 10 head-to-head matches between these teams and Jets have gone over in 7 of their last 10 games.

Lightning have the second longest winning streak in the league right now, with 6 wins in a row. They have finally playing like a team that ended up 1st in regular season last year. However, Hurricanes are also playing well, although they have won just 5 games of their last 10.

Hurricanes are favorites according to bookies, especially since Tampa Bay has also played yesterday while Hurricanes got some rest. That means that betting on Lightning has a lot of value and we suggest taking a chance on Tampa Bay at those odds.

Our Pick: Lightning on the Moneyline

Detroit Red Wings @ Chicago Blackhawks

Red Wings are still the worst team in the league and they are likely to end up on the very bottom at the end as well. They are 3-7 in their last 10 games and have some injury problems that make matters even worse.

While Blackhawks are not having a great season either, they are 6-4 in their last 10 games and we believe that they will get another win tonight.

Winnipeg Jets @ Minnesota Wild

This should be a very interesting duel of two teams fighting for the playoffs in the West. Both teams are not in the best form, with Jets winning only 1 and Wild only 2 games in their last 5. However, Wild has a much better head-to-head record against Jets at home, so they are a slight favorite in our eyes.

But betting on the final score here is not our first choice. Since both teams score a little bit over 3 goals per game, and allow the same number of goals on average, this game should have plenty of goals.

Our Pick: Over 6 Total Goals

St. Louis Blues @ Vegas Golden Knights

Both teams are pretty hot right now since Knights have 7 wins in the last 10 games and Blues have 8 wins in the same span. However, Blues have lost two games in a row, while Vegas is on a 3-game winning streak.

It is obvious that Golden Knights are in a bit of a better form but we don’t like betting against the reigning champions and the best team in the West this season. Instead, we suggest betting on under since both teams allow less than 3 goals per game and this is a very important match so both teams will be even more cautious in defense.

Our Pick: Under 5.5 Total Goals

Tampa Bay Lightning @ Ottawa Senators

Tampa Bay is finally playing the way everybody expected before the season. They were 1st in the regular season last year and after a good sequence of results they seem primed to make the playoffs this year after a bad start. Now they have 7 wins in their last 10 games and they are on a 5-game winning streak.

On the other hand, Senators are struggling at the moment, with 3 wins in their last 10 games. They are on a 3-game losing streak and we expect that bad run to keep going tonight.

Our Pick: Lightning on the Puckline

Colorado Avalanche @ New Jersey Devils

Colorado is 2nd in the Central Division and 3rd in the entire Western Conference but they have won only 4 games in their last 10. On the other hand, Devils are dead last in the Metropolitan Division but they have won 3 games in a row and 6 out of their last 10.

While we expect Avalanche to break the Devils’ winning streak, the odds on Avalanche on the moneyline are too low and betting on them on the puckline seems risky. So, betting on goals seems like a smarter choice. Avs are 1st in the league in goals scored, while Devils are last in goals allowed. In addition to this, Avalanche has allowed over 4 goals in their last 5 games, so over seems like a logical choice.

Capitals still have the best score in the league along with Bruins with 59 points but they have been pretty inconsistent lately. They are 5-5 in their last 10 games and they have lost 2 games in a row coming into this game. Hurricanes have won 6 games of their last 10 and they are in better form since they are also on a 2-game winning streak.

Still, it is best to leave the final score alone in this game and focus on goals. Both teams are scoring around 3.5 goals per game and two of their three latest head-to-head games had seven or more goals, including the recent 6-4 win for Hurricanes a few days ago. Back over with confidence.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Total Goals

Detroit Red Wings @ Dallas Stars

Red Wings have managed to finally break their losing streak with a win over Sharks but now they are travelling to Dallas to play against one of the better teams this in the NHL this season. With that win, Red Wings now have a score of 3-7 in their last 10 games but they are still dead last in the league.

Stars have won 6 of their last 10 games and they are 3-game winning streak. They are only a couple of points away from being 3rd in the West, so we expect them to take this game as seriously as possible and win in a convincing manner.

Bruins have been a bit inconsistent lately, with 4 wins in their last 10 games. Despite this, they are still firmly holding the top position in the Atlantic Division and they are just a point away from Capitals who are 1st in the Eastern Conference.

On the other hand, Blue Jackets have won 6 out of their last 10 games and they are in pretty good form but they need to improve their record even more if they are to make the playoffs. Since Boston is in a bit of a rut, the odds on Bruins on the moneyline are too good to pass.

Our Pick: Bruins on the Moneyline

San Jose Sharks @ Pittsburgh Penguins

These two teams enter tonight’s game in a completely different mood. Penguins are in great form, with 8 wins in their last 10 games and they are on a 3-game winning streak. Sharks have only won 2 games out of their last 10.

With that in mind, we believe that Penguins can keep their winning streak alive tonight and get the win on the puckline.

Our Pick: Penguins on the Puckline

Toronto Maple Leafs @ Winnipeg Jets

Maple Leafs are one of the hottest teams in the NHL right now. They have won 8 out of their last 10 games and they seem poised to make a push for the better sport before the playoffs since they are currently 6th in the East.

Jets are not playing great at the moment, with 4 wins in their last 10 games. However, they are a good team and we expect a tight contest tonight. That is why we suggest betting on goals instead on the final score. Over seems like the best bet since both teams can score well and they have averaged around 9 goals per game in their last 5 games combined.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Total Goals

St. Louis Blues @ Colorado Avalanche

The reigning champions are firmly sitting in the 1st place of the Western Conference and their Central Division but right behind them in the division is Colorado. This game could Avalanche move a bit closer or Blues pulling even further away.

St. Louis is playing great at the moment as well, with 8 wins in their last 10 games. On the other hand, Avalanche is on a 3-game losing streak and they have won just 4 of their last 10 games. In addition to this, Blues has won the last 6 head-to-head matches, two of them this season. With that in mind, it is a bit surprising to see that Colorado is the favorite here. We suggest taking a swing on Blues on the moneyline or back them on the puckline if you want to play it safer.

However, Dallas is on a 2-game winning streak, while Predators have lost 2 games in a row. Dallas has also won 4 out of their last 5 head-to-head matches and they are simply a better team this season, so we expect them to start the New Year with a win.

Maple Leafs are one of the hottest teams in the league right now, with 8 wins in their last 10 games. They are 2nd in the Atlantic Division but they enter this game after a surprising overtime loss to Rangers in Toronto.

However, Minnesota is also in good form lately, although they have won just 5 games in their last 10 but they have a better head-to-head record against Toronto recently. Avoid betting on the final score and bet on goals instead. Both teams concede around 3.3 goals per game and play at a fast pace, so we expect over in this game.

Our Pick: Over 6 Total Goals

Tampa Bay Lightning @ Buffalo Sabres

It seems that Tampa Bay is finally getting in form since they have won 3 games in a row and 6 out of their last 10. They are in the playoffs race at the moment, which is great since they had a very slow start this season.

On the other hand, Sabres are struggling with a 3-game losing streak and just 4 wins in their last 10 games. They are not far from Lightning in terms of points but this seems like a great chance for Tampa Bay to get another important win.

Our Pick: Lightning on the Moneyline

San Jose Sharks @ Detroit Red Wings

Red Wings continue their poor showing this season – they are the worst team in the league with just 9 wins in 40 games and they have now lost 6 games in a row. This is not their worst losing streak this season so they will certainly try to break it tonight against fellow strugglers San Jose Sharks.

Sharks have given up their hope of playoffs at this point, although they could still make a push with a string of good results. However, they are in bad form with just 2 wins in their last 10 games but they could win their second game in the row tonight. Red Wings are just so bad this season that we have to suggest backing Sharks in this one.

Our Pick: Sharks on the Moneyline

Winnipeg Jets @ Colorado Avalanche

Both of these teams are having a good season, with Avalanche only two wins ahead of their tonight’s rival. However, both teams have only won 4 games out of their last 10. In addition to this, Avalanche is on a 2-game winning streak, while Jets have lost 3 in a row.

With both teams in poor form at the moment, it seems safer to bet on goals than the final score. Both teams score around 3 goals per game and while they usually play good defense, they have both allowed over 3.5 goals during their recent losing streaks. With that in mind, over seems like a smart choice.

On the other hand, Senators have been struggling this season, with 37 points from 39 games. This puts them only above Red Wings and Devils in the Eastern Conference. They have also won just 4 games out of their last 10 and it seems that Penguins are huge favorites for a reason.

Blackhawks are on the very bottom of the Central Division and they have been struggling for the most of the season. They have won 4 out of their last 10 games but they enter into this game after a somewhat surprising win against Islanders.

On the other hand, Blue Jackets have been very good lately, winning 6 out of their last 10 games and losing three out of four games in that span after overtime/penalties. With that in mind, we believe Columbus can get the win tonight.

Our Pick: Blue Jackets on the Moneyline

New York Islanders @ Minnesota Wild

Both of these teams enter this game with 5 wins in their last 10 games. However, Islanders are on a 3-game losing streak, while Minnesota has 2 wins in a row. Still, we expect a tight contest and while we lean towards Minnesota, we believe betting on goals is a smarter choice.

While these teams are not the most efficient out there, they do score around 3 goals per game. And while Islanders allow only 2.67 goals per game, Wild allows 3.33. We believe over is a good bet.

Our Pick: Over 5.5 Total Goals

Buffalo Sabres @ Boston Bruins

Bruins have gotten out of their slump with a couple of impressive wins over Capitals and Sabres. Now they will host Sabres after winning in Buffalo 3-0 in their last game. Sabres have been inconsistent the entire season and they have won 4 out of their last 10 games.

With Boston in the race for the best score in the league before the playoffs, they will play hard to get every point and games like these have to be won.

Our Pick: Bruins on the Puckline

Detroit Red Wings @ Tampa Bay Lightning

Detroit is the worst team in the league this season, with just 9 wins in 39 games. They are once again on a losing streak, this time spanning for 5 games so far and they have some injury problems to make the matters worse.

Lightning has been major disappointment this season but they have been playing better lately and they are making a serious push for the playoffs. They have won 2 in a row and 6 out of their last 10. We expect another loss for Red Wings tonight.

Penguins are red-hot right now, with 8 wins in their last 10 games. They are 3rd in the Metropolitan Division and almost certain to make the playoffs this season. In addition to this, Penguins enter this game after a win against Predators in Nashville last night.

While Predators are also in solid form, with 6 wins in their last 10 games, they have been struggling for most of the season. And with Penguins in great form and having the home court advantage, this seems like a sure win for Pittsburgh.

Our Pick: Penguins on the Moneyline

Montreal Canadiens @ Tampa Bay Lightning

Tampa Bay has been one of the major disappointments this season since they have a tough road ahead to even make playoffs after ending the last season on top of the entire league. They have 5 wins in their last 10 games but Canadiens are on a great run since they have won 7 games in the same span.

This seems like a very hard game to predict the winner, so we suggest betting on goals instead. Both teams are in top 10 in goals scored with 3.27 for Montreal and 3.54 for Tampa Bay. They also allow over 3 goals per game, so over seems like a safe bet.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Total Goals

Detroit Red Wings @ Florida Panthers

Those who bet against Red Wings consistently this season probably made a lot of money. Detroit is on another losing streak with 4 losses in a row and they only have 9 wins in 38 games that they played. On the other hand, Panthers are 5-5 in their last 10 games and still very much in the playoffs race.

To suggest betting on anything other than on convincing win for Panthers would be crazy but you can also try over 6.5 total goals if you believe that Red Wings can put up a fight.

Our Pick: Panthers on the Puckline

Arizona Coyotes @ Vegas Golden Knights

These two teams enter into this duel tied for the 1st place in the Pacific Division, although Coyotes have played two games fewer than Knights. Still, this is one of the more interesting matches tonight and with both teams in similar forms with 5 wins in last 10 games, we can’t be confident in predicting the final score.

With that in mind, look for under in this game since both teams score around 3 goals per game and combine for less than 6 together.

Washington is still leading the entire league with 57 points and they have been on top for the most of the season. They have won 7 out of their last 10 games but they lost their last game before the All-Star break. It was a particularly tough loss since it came against Bruins, one of their main rivals for the top spot before the playoffs.

However, Blue Jackets are also in amazing form, with 5 wins in a row before this game and they have beating Capitals two times already this season. But Columbus is struggling with injuries at the moment and we believe their run will come to an end tonight.

Our Pick: Capitals on the Puckline

Boston Bruins @ Buffalo Sabres

Before the All-Star break, Bruins got an impressive 7-3 victory over Washington Capitals to break their poor form. Still, they have only won 2 out of their last 10 games and that’s the worst run they had the entire season since they are 3rd in the league with 53 points.

On the other hand, Sabres have won 4 out of their last 10 games but they have only one win in the last 5 games. Bruins are too good to remain in poor form and their win over Capitals surely infused them with confidence, so we expect Boston to get on top tonight as well.

Our Pick: Bruins on the Moneyline

Minnesota Wild @ Colorado Avalanche

After being on the very bottom of the Western Conference for a long time, Minnesota has managed to improve drastically and into the playoffs race. They have won 5 out of their last 10 games and they are in good form.

However, Colorado is also playing well with 6 wins in their last 10 games. This could be a very tight contest, so we suggest betting on goals instead of the final score. Since Colorado has the best offense in the league and Wild have scored an average of 3.11 goals per game, this should go over 6 goals.

Our Pick: Over 6 Total Goals

New York Islanders @ Chicago Blackhawks

Islanders have been one of the better teams this season but they have been inconsistent in the last month or so. In their last 10 games they have won 5 and they enter this matchup after two straight losses.

However, Blackhawks have been poor this season and they are at the very bottom of their division right now. They have won 4 out of their last 10 but they are one of the worst teams at home this season. Back the Islanders in this one.

Despite being in a very bad form recently, winning only 2 of their last 10 games, Bruins are still firmly in 1st place in the Atlantic Division and 2nd in the Eastern Conference. The only team in front of them is their rival for the evening – Washington Capitals.

However, Capitals are probably the hottest team in the league at this moment since they have won 8 out of their last 10 games. And while betting against Boston is not usually recommended, especially when they play at home, this seems like a good opportunity to do so.

Our Pick: Capitals on the Moneyline

Columbus Blue Jackets @ New York Islanders

Blue Jackets are on a 4-game winning streak but they are still ways away from getting into the playoffs race in the East. On the other hand, Islanders are 3rd in the Eastern Conference and they have been great most of the season.

Islanders have won 6 out of their last 10 games and while Blue Jackets are undoubtedly in better form right now, they are also dealing with a lot of injuries as well. We believe that the time has come for their winning streak to end.

Our Pick: Islanders on the Moneyline

New Jersey Devils @ Chicago Blackhawks

Devils have the second worst score in the entire league, right behind Red Wings. They have also won just 2 games out of their last 10 and they enter this game on a 2-game losing streak. And while Blackhawks have also been bad this season, they were not that bad.

Chicago is also on a 2-game winning streak right now and they have won 5 out of their last 10 games. Blackhawks should be able to come on top in this game since they are in much better form and have the home court advantage.

Our Pick: Blackhawks on the Moneyline

St. Louis Blues @ Los Angeles Kings

The reigning champions are having a good season. They are firmly in 1st place in the Western Conference and they are on a 5-game winning streak at the moment. Blues have also won 7 out of their last 10 games.

On the other hand, Kings are sharing the bottom spot in the West with Sharks and Ducks. They have lost 2 games in a row and they have only won 4 games out of their last 10. Despite the fact that they will be playing in front of their fans tonight, we expect Blues to keep their winning streak going.

Coyotes won 5 out of their last 10 games and they come into this game after a loss against Minnesota, so they are not in such a great form. Still, the game against Red Wings is a perfect opportunity for Coyotes to boost their confidence further.

Our Pick: Coyotes on the Moneyline

Calgary Flames @ Dallas Stars

Flames are on a 3-game losing streak but they have won 7 games in a row before this, so they are one of the hottest teams in the league at the moment. However, Stars are also playing well, winning 5 out of their last 10 games.

With both teams in solid form, we expect this to be a very close duel. That’s why we would avoid betting on the final score and back under instead since both teams score only around 2.7 goals per game. After winning two games in a row, Detroit is now on another losing streak. They have now lost two straight games and only have 2 wins in their last 10, so they are still the worst team in the league when it comes to their record.

On the other hand, Leafs are 2nd in the Atlantic Division right now and they have won 3 games in a row. This should be an easy win for Toronto and we expect them to cover the puckline as well.

Our Pick: Maple Leafs on the Spread (-1.5)

Nashville Predators @ Boston Bruins

Bruins are on a bad run at the moment since they have only won 3 games in their last 10. However, they are still 1st in the Atlantic Division with 10 points more than the team behind them. Predators have 5 wins in their last 10 games but they are still far away from the playoff spot in their conference.

Due to the poor form of Bruins, we are reluctant to bet on them to win here. Instead, we would suggest betting on over since both teams score around 3.5 goals per season and we expect them to keep this trend up tonight.

Our Pick: Over 6 Total Goals

Tampa Bay Lightning @ Washington Capitals

Despite being one of the favorites to win it all before the season started, Tampa Bay is having a really bad season with 38 points from 33 games. Still, they have won 5 games out of their last 10 and they could find their way into the playoffs if they improve their record in the upcoming months.

On the other hand, Capitals are still the best team in the league and they have won 8 out of their last 10 games. So, we honestly can’t figure out is Tampa Bay considered to be the favorite in this game by the bookies other than the fact that this is the second game of back-to-back for Washington but we won’t turn down the generous odds on Capitals for tonight.

Our Pick: Capitals on the Moneyline

Chicago Blackhawks @ Colorado Avalanche

Colorado is one of the hottest teams in the league right now since they have won 7 out of their last 10 games – although they enter this game after a loss to Carolina Hurricanes. On the other hand, Blackhawks are struggling this season and they are at the very bottom of the Central Division right now.

In addition to this, Avalanche has already won 3 games against Blackhawks this season and we don’t see this game going any other way to be honest.

Capitals are leading the entire league in points and they seem on course to clinch the top spot before the playoffs. We expect them to justify the favorite tag in this game and get a convincing win in New Jersey.

Our Pick: Capitals on the Puckline

Pittsburgh Penguins @ Edmonton Oilers

Even though Oilers have been struggling lately, with just 3 wins in the last 10 games, they still have one of the better records in the league. They are still in 3rd place in the Pacific Division. But Penguins also have a good record and they are 4th in the Metropolitan Division.

In addition to this, Penguins have been in great form lately. They are on a 3-game winning streak and they have won 7 out of their last 10 games. We always like to back in-form teams, so we suggest taking Pittsburgh on the moneyline tonight.

This should be a very interesting game between two teams of similar quality. Tampa Bay was one of pre-season favorites because they finished last season on top of the standings before playoffs but they have been a disappointment so far. However, they are on a good run, with 3 wins in their last 4 games.

On the other hand, Stars are wildly inconsistent recently, with 4 wins in their last 10 games. Lightning needs the win tonight badly to keep up the good form and stay in the playoffs race, and we expect them to get it.

Our Pick: Lightning on the Moneyline

New York Islanders @ Boston Bruins

Another great duel will take place in Boston where Bruins will take on Islanders. Both teams have been great this season – Bruins sit on top of the Atlantic Division, while Islanders are 2nd in the Metropolitan Division. However, both teams have been struggling a bit lately and enter this game after a loss in previous game.

While we would back Boston in this game if we had to choose, we would rather bet on goals. Both teams are exceptional on the defensive end and find themselves in top 5 in terms of goals conceded. With that in mind, under seems like a smart bet.

Our Pick: Under 5.5 Total Goals

Nashville Predators @ Ottawa Senators

Predators enter this game after a surprising and convincing 8-3 win against New York Islanders. And while Predators have been mostly poor this season, they have now won two games in a row and 5 out of their last 10 games.

On the other hand, Senators are one of the worst teams in the Eastern Conference and they have won just 3 games out of their last 10. We believe Predators will come into this game full of confidence due to their win over Islanders and keep their winning streak going.

Our Pick: Predators on the Moneyline

Carolina Hurricanes @ Colorado Avalanche

Colorado is one of the hottest team in the league right now. They have won 8 out of their last 10 games and now they are 2nd in the Western Conference, with just 3 points behind St. Louis Blues. However, Hurricanes are also playing well, with 6 wins in 10 games and two wins in a row.

While we believe that Colorado can get the win tonight, we like over on total goals more. Both teams score around 3.5 goals per game, so back over instead of betting on the final score.

Colorado Avalanche @ Chicago Blackhawks

Avalanche is one of the best teams in the West this season, with 45 from 33 games. They are 2nd in the conference right now and they have been on a great run lately, winning 8 out of their last 10 games, although they lost their last game in St. Louis to reigning champs and the only team with more points in the West.

On the other hand, Blackhawks have been struggling recently, with just 3 wins in 10 games. They are sharing the bottom spot in the West with Ducks and we don’t think they can threaten Colorado at all.

Our Pick: Avalanche on the Moneyline

Edmonton Oilers @ St. Louis Blues

The current holders of the O’Brien Trophy are having another great season. Blues is 3rd in the league at the moment and they are in great form with 7 wins in their last 10 games. They are also on a 3-game winning streak.

However, Oilers have also been good this season but they have gotten on a bad run recently. They have won just 3 games out of their last 10 and their bad form is likely to continue tonight.

Nashville Predators @ New York Islanders

New York Islanders have been great this season and they are currently on a 3-game winning streak after hitting a bit of a bump before that. Islanders now have 6 wins in their last 10 games. On the other hand, Predators have been disappointing this season, with 35 points from 32 matches. Still, they have 5 wins in their last 10 games and enter this game after beating the other New York team, the Rangers, last night.

Given that this will be the second game of back-to-back set for Predators, the home court advantage for New York and the fact that Islanders are simply a better team, we expect Islanders to come up with a win.

Our Pick: Islanders on the Moneyline

Ottawa Senators @ Tampa Bay Lightning

Senators are one of the worst teams in the league this season and they enter this game with 3 wins in their last 10 games. However, Lightning has been the biggest disappointment probably this year – they are only 5 points apart from Senators and they will have to put on an amazing run to get into the playoffs.

Given the fact that Lightening had the best regular season record last year, their season is a major letdown. Still, they are certainly the better team here and they have the home court advantage, so we expect them to win after all.

Our Pick: Lightning on the Puckline

Columbus Blue Jackets @ Detroit Red Wings

Blue Jackets got a somewhat surprising win last night against Washington Capitals, the best team in the league but that was just their 3rd win in the last 10 games. Luckily for them, they will have a chance tonight to go on a bit of a winning streak since they will be playing the worst team in the league this season.

Red Wings have managed to win 2 games after losing 12 in a row before that. Still, their last game ended in a loss to Kings and it seems that Red Wings will quickly return to their losing ways. Back Columbus in this one.

Our Pick: Blue Jackets on the Moneyline

Minnesota Wild @ Vegas Golden Knights

Both of these teams have been great lately, with 7 wins in the last 10 games each. With that in mind, it seems difficult to predict who could come out on top, although we would probably back Vegas if we had to since they have the home court advantage.

Instead, we suggest betting on total goals. Both teams score around 3 goals per game but they also allow the same on average. However, these teams have combined for more than 6 goals just once in their last 5 head-to-head matches, so under seems like a good choice.

Capitals are firmly holding the 1st place in the NHL with 53 points from 34 games. They have won 8 out of their last 10 games and they don’t seem to be slowing down at all. On the other hand, Blue Jackets are struggling at the moment, with 3 wins in 10 latest games.

In addition to the form and team quality, Blue Jackets are struggling with injuries as well. With that in mind, Capitals winning this game convincingly seems like a safe bet.

Our Pick: Capitals on the Puckline

Nashville Predators @ New York Rangers

Both of these teams have been pretty bad this season. Rangers are a bit better but only by 3 points. New York has won 5 games out of the last 10, the same score as the Predators in that span. Basically, not much separates these two teams and we would avoid predictions on the final score.

Betting on goals is a much smarter choice in this game. Both teams average around 3 goals scored per game but Rangers have been great defensively in the last 5 games since they have allowed only 2.2 goals per game. Under seems like a solid bet.

Our Pick: Under 6 Total Goals

Edmonton Oilers @ Dallas Stars

Oilers have been struggling lately, losing 4 games in a row and only winning 3 games out of their last 10. On the other hand, Stars have won 5 games out of their last 10 and they have generally been playing well in the past month or so.

While Oilers are still a good team and seem likely to make the playoffs this year, we believe that their losing streak will keep going for at least one more game.

Flyers lost 4-1 last night in Minnesota and now they have lost 3 out of their last 5 games. They are still positive in their last 10 games since they have won 6 in that span but they have lost 2 in a row and now they will play one of the better teams in the West, Winnipeg Jets.

Jets also have 6 wins in their last 10 games but they will have the home court advantage tonight and they are more rested since they didn’t play last night. We believe that will be enough to get the win.

Our Pick: Jets on the Moneyline

Los Angeles Kings @ Detroit Red Wings

It sounds unbelievable but Red Wings have won two games in a row! After losing 12 straight games and winning just 7 games out of previous 32, Red Wings have got the wins against Jets and Canadiens. They are still convincingly last in the league but they have surprised many in these two games.

Now they will host Los Angeles Kings who lost to Penguins on the road last night after penalties. Kings are now at the very bottom of the Pacific Division and they have won just 4 out of their last 10 games. Since we can’t decide who will win tonight, we suggest betting on goals instead. Both teams struggle to score and have scored less than 2.5 goals per game this season. Under seems like a smart bet.

Both teams are in good form at the moment – Flyers have won 7, Wild 6 games in their last 10. Minnesota has been particularly impressive considering the fact that they have been at the bottom of the standings for a long time.

Since both teams are playing well, we would avoid betting on the final score. Instead, we believe betting on goals is a better choice. Both teams score a bit over 3 goals per game, so taking over in this one seems like a solid choice.

Our Pick: Over 5.5 Total Goals

Los Angeles Kings @ Pittsburgh Penguins

Penguins are on a good run since they won 7 out of their last 10 games. They are 3rd in the Eastern Conference and they look poised to make the playoffs this year. However, Kings are on a 2-game winning streak, although they only have 4 wins in their last 10 games.

Kings can put up a solid fight this evening but we expect Penguins to get the win since they are playing well and they have the home court advantage.

Our Pick: Penguins on the Moneyline

Detroit Red Wings @ Montreal Canadiens

Red Wings have finally broken their 12-game losing streak after the surprising win against Jets in their last game. Still, Red Wings are the worst team in the league this season and we don’t expect them to go on a winning streak now.

Canadiens are a solid team – they have 36 points, which is enough to put them in the 8th spot in the East. And while they have only won 4 of their last 10 games, they are clear favorites for tonight.

Our Pick: Canadiens on the Puckline

Boston Bruins @ Florida Panthers

Bruins are in a crisis right now since they have lost 5 games in a row. Despite this bad run, they are still 2nd in the Eastern Conference. Panthers have not been much better lately either. They are on a 2-game losing streak and have only won 4 games out of their last 10.

This could be a very close match but we would give the edge to Bruins. They are clearly the better team and their losing streak will probably end sooner rather than later.

After losing to St. Louis last night, Golden Knights are going to Dallas tonight to try and bounce back with a win. Knights have lost 3 out of their last 5 games and they have been very inconsistent lately. On the other hand, Stars are on a 3-game winning streak and will be looking to get another win against Golden Knights this season.

Taking into account the fact that this is the second game of back-to-back for Vegas and that Stars will have the home court advantage, we expect Dallas to come out with a win.

Our Pick: Stars on the Moneyline

New Jersey Devils @ Colorado Avalanche

Colorado was a borderline playoff team in previous years but this season they look like a true contender since they have the 2nd best record in the West with 43 points. Colorado is also in great form at the moment, with 7 wins in their last 10 games.

On the other hand, Devils are one of the worst teams in the league, with only Red Wings behind them in points. They are also on a 6-game losing streak and it seems like the win for Avalanche tonight should not come into question.

This will be a duel of two similar teams, although Islanders do have a few points more for the season than Panthers. However, both teams have won 5 games in the last 10 games but Islanders are a bit better in head-to-head matches in Florida with 4 out of 6 wins in most recent games.

Still, we believe it is best to stay clear of betting on the final score. Instead, we suggest betting on under since the last meetings between these two teams had fewer than six goals and Islanders are the best defense in the league so far.

Our Pick: Under 6 Total Goals

Nashville Predators @ Buffalo Sabres

Sabres have been playing well in the past couple of months and they managed to get to the 2nd place in the Atlantic Division. However, they have been inconsistent lately, with 5 wins in their last 10 games. On the other hand, Predators are on a 2-game winning streak but they have also won 5 games out of their last 10.

While this should be a very tight contest, we expect Sabres to take advantage of their home court and get the win this evening.

Our Pick: Sabres on the Moneyline

Winnipeg Jets @ Detroit Red Wings

Betting against Detroit is probably the safest thing you could do this season. Red Wings have lost 12 games in a row, including a convincing 5-1 loss in Winnipeg on Tuesday. On the other hand, Jets have 7 wins in their last 10 games and they are one of the hottest teams in the NHL right now.

With that in mind, we expect this rematch to end similarly to the game played on Tuesday – with a convincing win for Winnipeg Jets.

Our Pick: Jets on the Puckline

Vegas Golden Knights @ St. Louis Blues

The reigning champs are on a bad run at the moment since they are on a 3-game losing streak. And after looking like one of the best teams for most of the season, Blues have fallen behind Avalanche, although by just one point. Also, in the last 10 games, both of these teams have 5 wins.

Blues are too good of a team to keep this bad run going for a long time. Whether they will end it tonight or in some of their next games remains to be seen but we believe they can get out of the rut in front of their fans.

Despite the fact that both teams have lost their previous game, it should be a very interesting duel. Both teams have won 7 out of their last 10 games, although Bruins are on a 3-game losing streak.

We lean towards Capitals in this game but we are not that confident to put any money on that bet. Instead, we believe betting on under is a good choice since Bruins mostly rely on their defense for good results and we expect them to enter this game very cautiously.

Our Pick: Under 6 Total Goals

Ottawa Senators @ Montreal Canadiens

Montreal Canadiens are in good form, with 3 wins in their last 5 games, including the win on the road against Penguins last night. However, Senators have managed to beat both Edmonton and Boston in their last few games, so even though they are still one of the teams with worst records in the league, they obviously can surprise us.

Despite these wins and the fact that this is the second game of back-to-back for Canadiens, they are a better team and with the home court advantage they should be able to get the win against Senators.

Montreal has struggled lately but now they are back on the winning track, with victories in two of their last three games that ended their 8-game losing streak. On the other hand, Penguins are on a 3-game winning streak of their own and go into this match well-rested after a couple of days off.

Penguins have also won 5 games in a row at home and have a better head-to-head record against Canadiens lately, with 7 wins in 10 last games. We expect this to continue this evening.

Our Pick: Penguins on the Puckline

St. Louis Blues @ Buffalo Sabres

Sabres have been struggling for a while now and it seems unlikely that this can change against the reigning NHL champions. Sabres have won only 4 games out of their last 10 and have a pretty bad score against the teams from the West.

Blues have lost two games in a row as well but they are still 6-4 in their last ten games and have won 11 out of their last 14 games. Sabres can’t even count on positive head-to-head score since Blues have won 8 out of their last 10 matches.

Our Pick: Blues on the Moneyline

Anaheim Ducks @ Minnesota Wild

Minnesota saw their 5-game winning streak broken on Saturday after a loss on the road to Hurricanes. Still, they have been playing exceptionally lately and they have managed to get into the playoff race after sitting on the very bottom for most of the season.

Wild will have a good chance to bounce back since they will now host the struggling Ducks. Anaheim enters this game after two straight losses and with just 3 wins in their last 10 games. We like to bet on in-form teams and in this case that is definitely Minnesota.

Our Pick: Wild on the Moneyline

Detroit Red Wings @ Winnipeg Jets

There’s not much to say about Red Wings except that they are arguably the worst team in the league this season. With 17 points from 31 games, Red Wings are way behind other struggling teams and they have now lost 11 games in a row.

On the other hand, Jets are in good form with 7 wins in their last 10 games and they are firmly sitting 5th in the Western Conference. We just don’t see how Red Wings could get anything from this game at all.

On the other hand, Blue Jackets are struggling right now, with 4 straight losses before this game. All that clearly suggests that an easy win awaits Capitals tonight.

Our Pick: Capitals on the Puckline

Boston Bruins @ Ottawa Senators

Bruins have lost two straight games but they were on an 8-game winning streak before that and they are still firmly leading the Atlantic Division with 46 points, just 3 points fewer than Capitals who lead the entire league.

In a complete contrast to Bruins, Senators have been struggling the entire season with just 25 points from 30 games. This seems like a perfect game for Bruins to break their losing streak and we expect them to do it convincingly.

Coyotes are 2nd in the Pacific Division but they have been pretty inconsistent lately with 5 wins in 10 games. On the other hand, Blackhawks are on a 2-game winning streak but they are still in the last place in Central Division.

This game has the potential to be very close, perhaps even end in a shootout. For that reason, we suggest betting on goals. Both teams score less than 3 goals per match but Coyotes also have one of the best defenses in the league with an average of just 2.3 goals conceded per game.

Our Pick: Under 5.5 Total Goals

New York Rangers @ Vegas Golden Knights

Golden Knights got their winning streak of 4 games snapped in the last game against Islanders. Still, they are in good form and their surge puts them just 4 points behind Oilers, a team leading the Pacific Division right now. On the other hand, Rangers have been inconsistent this season and mediocre for the most part. But they do have 6 wins in the last 10 games, the same score as Golden Knights.

Despite this, Vegas is a clear favorite for this game. They are playing at home and Rangers don’t fare well against teams from the Pacific Division since they only have one win in thirteen games against them.

Our Pick: Golden Knights on the Puckline

Buffalo Sabres @ Edmonton Oilers

Oilers are one of the most consistent teams this season. That means that they don’t go on long winning or losing streaks. After their 5-game winning streak to start the season, they haven’t won or lost more than two games in a row. Still, they have been doing well the entire season and find themselves on top of the Pacific Division.

Sabres are on a two-game losing streak and have only managed to win 3 games out of their last 10. We don’t believe their poor form can change tonight, so take Oilers on the moneyline in this game.

Blues are still a better team and they are 2nd in the East when it comes to playing at home, so we expect them to get the win tonight.

Our Pick: Blues on the Moneyline

Minnesota Wild @ Carolina Hurricanes

Minnesota is in great form at the moment. They are on a 5-game winning streak and they have a record of 7-3 in their last ten games. Wild has played so well lately that they are now in the playoff race after being one of the worst teams in the league for most of the season.

However, Carolina is also playing well, with 6 wins in their last 10 games. This should be a very close duel and we suggest taking Wild on the puckline since we don’t expect Hurricanes to beat them comfortably, if they beat them at all.

Our Pick: Wild on the Puckline

Colorado Avalanche @ Boston Bruins

Both of these teams are in great form – Bruins are 8-2 in the last 10 games, while Avalanche is 7-3 in the same game span. Avalanche is also on a 5-game winning streak but Bruins are the best team in the league when they play in front of their fans.

This should be a very interesting and tight game, so we suggest staying clear of the final score. Take over instead since both teams are in top 5 in goals scored and we firmly believe that is the right play for this game.

Our Pick: Over 6 Total Goals

Pittsburgh Penguins @ Detroit Red Wings

Red Wings are the worst team in the NHL this season and it’s not even close at this point since they only have 17 points from 30 games and they are on a 10-game losing streak. Penguins have been solid lately, winning 6 out of 10 last games.

There is no doubt in our mind that Penguins are going to win this game and if you want to get better odds, we feel comfortable betting on them on the puckline as well.

Coyotes are still 1st in the Pacific Division despite struggling for a while. They have 6 wins in their last 10 games and they are on a 2-game winning streak. They got the road win against Flyers last night, so it seems like they are back in the form. Penguins are solid lately with 5 wins in 10 games but also pretty inconsistent.

This being the second game of back-to-back for Coyotes does and the home court advantage can help Penguins get the positive result this evening. But we don’t expect this to be an easy win, so we suggest taking Coyotes on the Puckline.

Our Pick: Coyotes on the Puckline

Chicago Blackhawks @ New Jersey Devils

Blackhawks got a surprising win last night, beating Bruins on the road in overtime. However, they are still the second worst team in the East with 27 points and have won just 4 out of their last 10 games. Devils are the second worst team in the West with 22 points, so this game should be interesting at least.

While we would support Blackhawks if they had a bit more to rest, we are not completely comfortable doing so in their second game of back-to-back. So we suggest betting on under instead since both teams are averaging less than 3 goals per game.

Our Pick: Under 6.5 Total Goals

Los Angeles Kings @ Edmonton Oilers

Kings are one of the worst teams in the league with only 24 points from 29 games and they are on a 2-game losing streak right now. On the other hand, Oilers are one of the better teams in the West but they have been struggling lately as well with 2 wins in their last 5 games.

Despite this bad run, Oilers are clear favorites in this game and they shouldn’t have any problems against the struggling Kings team.

Minnesota Wild @ Tampa Bay Lightning

Tampa Bay is one of the biggest disappointments this season. The team that had the best score in regular season last year seems to be struggling to find the right form and even making the playoffs is not a sure thing anymore. In fact, they now have less points than Wild who was one of the worst teams in the league for a while.

Wild is red hot at the moment, with 7 wins in 10 games. The 3 losses they suffered all came in overtime as well. Since Lightning is favored by the bookies tonight, we suggest taking Wild on the puckline but you can also try them on the moneyline to get great odds.

Our Pick: Wild on the Puckline

Chicago Blackhawks @ Boston Bruins

Boston is one of the best teams in the league. They are 2nd in the Eastern Conference with 45 points and they are on an 8-game winning streak right now. On the other hand, Blackhawks are second to last in the West and they have lost 3 games in a row.

In addition to this, Bruins have one of the best home-court records in the league, while Blackhawks have won only 3 games on the road this season.

Our Pick: Bruins on the Puckline

Vegas Golden Knights @ New York Islanders

Perhaps the most interesting game of the evening will be played in New York, where Islanders will host Golden Knights. Both teams have won 6 out of their last 10 games but Golden Knights are also on a 4-game winning streak.

This looks like a game where anything can happen, so we suggest staying clear of the final score. Instead, betting on goals is probably a better idea. Both teams are not scoring at a high rate, although three out of their last games had 5 or more goals. We still like under better in this game despite it.

Our Pick: Under 5.5 Total Goals

Colorado Avalanche @ Montreal Canadiens

Canadiens are on a tough run since they have only won 2 out of their last 10 games. On the other hand, Avalanche is 7-3 in their last 10 games and they are also on a 4-game winning streak at the moment. However, the home team won in their last 7 head-to-head duels.

So, while we believe that Colorado can come up with a win here, we also feel that betting on goals is a safer play. Colorado is one of the best scoring teams in the league with 3.7 goals scored per match. Montreal is also scoring well, with 3.2 goals per match. Over seems like a solid bet.

On the other hand, Colorado is rested and on a 3-game winning streak. Avalanche is 7-3 in the last 10 games, so it’s safe to say that they are in good form.

With all that in mind, especially the fact that this is the second game of back-to-back for Leafs, we expect Colorado to come up with a win.

Our Pick: Avalanche on the Moneyline

St. Louis Blues @ Pittsburgh Penguins

Penguins have won just 4 games of their last 10 and they are on a 2-game losing streak at the moment. On the other hand, the reigning champions are playing according to their expectations. They are on a 4-game winning streak and they firmly holding the 1st place in the West.

While Penguins are a solid team and should never be underestimated, especially at home, we expect Blues to continue their hot streak tonight.

Our Pick: Blues on the Moneyline

Ottawa Senators @ Edmonton Oilers

Senators have been struggling the whole season and they have one of the worst records in the East. They are also on a 5-game losing streak and don’t seem like a team that can turn things around anytime soon. On the other hand, Oilers are 1st in the Pacific Division with 37 points and they will be looking for their second straight win tonight.

Vegas Golden Knights @ New Jersey Devils

Devils are one of the worst teams in the league this season. They are on a 2-game losing streak, although they are 4-6 in their last 10 games. On the other hand, Golden Knights are on a 3-game winning streak and 5-5 in their last ten games.

Even though this will be a second game of back-to-back for Knights after their win last night against Rangers, and even though Devils will have the home court advantage, the current form of these teams suggests that Vegas will get the win.

Our Pick: Golden Knights on the Moneyline

Carolina Hurricanes @ Boston Bruins

Bruins are one of the best teams in the NHL this season and it seems like they might go a step further than last year when they lost in the Finals in 7 games against Blues. Bruins are on a 7-game winning streak right now but Carolina is playing great hockey too since they are 7-3 in their last 10 games.

This should be an interesting duel and while we believe that Bruins will emerge victorious, we are not quite certain enough to bet on it. We would suggest betting on over instead since both teams score more than 3 goals per game and their recent matches have usually gone over.

Our Pick: Over 6 Total Goals

Toronto Maple Leafs @ Philadelphia Flyers

Flyers are playing well since they are on a 4-game winning streak. On the other hand, Maple Leafs are 4-6 in their last 10 games and come into this game after a pair of games against Sabres, where they lost one and won another in overtime.

With Flyers in better form and playing at home, we like their chances in this game and expect them to get the win.

Our Pick: Flyers on the Moneyline

Dallas Stars @ Winnipeg Jets

Stars have started the season slowly but they have been on fire in the past month or so. They have 7-3 in their last 10 games but those losses have come in a row since they are on a 3-game losing streak. On the other hand, Jets have also won 7 of their last 10 games and this should be a very close contest.

With that in mind, we suggest to stay clear of the final score and bet on goals instead. Both of these teams are in top 10 defenses but they also don’t score at a high rate, so under seems like a logical bet.

Vegas Golden Knights @ New York Rangers

Golden Knights are on a two-game winning streak right now after being in a poor form for a while. They are 4-6 in their last 10 games and sit on the edge of the playoffs in standings at the moment. On the other hand, Rangers are 6-4 in their last 10 games and enter this game after a convincing win over Devils on Saturday.

We expect this to be a tight contest but we like Rangers in this game. However, if you are not so sure about them, we suggest taking them on the puckline. The odds will be a lot smaller but still good enough to make it worth your while if Rangers win or lose by less than 2 goals.

Our Pick: Rangers on the Puckline

New York Islanders @ Detroit Red Wings

Red Wings just keep on losing. They are probably the worst team in the league and now they will host one of the best teams this season. Islanders have won 6 out of their last 10 games and they are currently 3rd in the East with 36 points.

Anything other than win for Islanders would be a big surprise, so we suggest taking them on the puckline to improve the odds a little bit.

Our Pick: Islanders on the Puckline

Los Angeles Kings @ Anaheim Ducks

Both of these teams are struggling this season and only a couple of points is the difference between them. Kings and Ducks are in the bottom 3 teams in the Western Conference and they will likely struggle to get any result this season.

That being said, Kings are even worse on the road with just two wins in 12 games. In fact, they are without a win on the road since mid-October. We don’t expect that to change after this game.

Our Pick: Ducks on the Moneyline

Dallas is playing great hockey recently, with 7 wins in their last 10 games. However, they are on a 2-game losing streak and they will be looking to break it this afternoon against one of the worst teams in the league.

However, Minnesota is also on a good run with 6 wins in their last 10 games and they enter this game after two straight wins. We expect this to be a tight duel but we believe it is time for Stars to get back on the winning track.

Our Pick: Stars on the Moneyline

Montreal Canadiens @ Boston Bruins

These two teams enter into this game in completely different forms – Bruins have won 6 straight games, while Canadiens are on a 7-game losing streak. Boston has been playing well the entire season and they are 2nd in the Eastern Conference right now.

With the home court advantage and better form on their side, Bruins are huge favorites for tonight. We expect them to justify this and get a convincing win against their Canadian rivals.

Our Pick: Bruins on the Puckline

Edmonton Oilers @ Vancouver Canucks

Oilers and Canucks are not that far apart this season and this should be a very tight contest. Canucks are 4-6 in their last 10 games, while Oilers are 6-4 but they are also on a two-game losing streak right now.

With that in mind, it seems smart to avoid betting on the final score and bet on goals instead. Both teams score around 3.2 goals this season and over seems like a logical bet for this game.

Buffalo Sabres @ Toronto Maple Leafs

Both of these teams have 28 points and find themselves in a fight for a playoff spot in the East. Both teams are in similar forms – Sabres have 2, Leafs 3 wins in the last five games. However, Sabres beat Maple Leafs on Friday in Buffalo.

While we believe Maple Leafs can get the win tonight, we prefer betting on goal in this duel. Both teams are in the bottom half when it comes to goals allowed but Maple Leafs are solid in goals scored with 3.35 goals per game. We think over is a solid bet.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Total Goals

Carolina Hurricanes @ Tampa Bay Lightning

Both teams are on a two-game losing streak and both teams are having disappointing seasons compared to their expectations. Both teams also have 6 wins in their last 10 games and it seems like this will be a very tight contest.

With that in mind, we suggest betting on goals instead. Tampa Bay is scoring 3.77 goals per game, enough for the 1st place in the league. Hurricanes are 8th in goals scored, so there should be no shortage of goals in their duel.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Total Goals

Nashville Predators @ Florida Panthers

Predators have gotten out of their slump and now they have 3 wins in their last 5 games. On the other hand, Panthers are on a 3-game losing streak but both teams enter into this game after a loss in their previous one.

While Predators are in a bit better form right now, Panthers are a solid home team and this will be the second game of back-to-back for Predators. We expect Panthers to take this opportunity to break their losing streak.

Our Pick: Panthers on the Moneyline

Detroit Red Wings @ Washington Capitals

Red Wings have been the worst team in the league so far, while Capitals are one of the best teams this season. Detroit has lost eight games in a row now, including a convincing 6-1 loss to Flyers last night. Capitals are on a two-game winning streak and have won 6 out of their last 10 games.

All of this points to a convincing and easy win for Capitals, especially since Red Wings also struggle with injuries at the moment.

Colorado Avalanche @ Chicago Blackhawks

Colorado enters this game after a win over Oilers, which ended their two-game losing streak. They are now 3-2 in their last five games and with 30 points they occupy 6th place in the conference. On the other hand, Blackhawks have 25 points but they have also won in their last game against Stars and broke their 3-game losing streak.

Both teams have reason to be optimistic but we lean toward Blackhawks in this game since Avalanche also has significant injury problems right now.

Our Pick: Blackhawks on the Moneyline

Detroit Red Wings @ Philadelphia Flyers

Red Wings are the worst team in the NHL if we look at the standings, since they are in the last place with just 17 points. The next worst team in the league has 22 points and Red Wings also enter this game after 7 straight losses. On the other hand, Flyers are playing well and have won two games in a row before this match.

Flyers on the moneyline is probably one of the safest bets of the night but we would suggest to back Philadelphia on the puckline to increase the odds.

Our Pick: Flyers on the Puckline

Tampa Bay Lightning @ Washington Capitals

Capitals are one of the favorites to go all the way this season since they have been amazing so far, with 39 points. This is enough to put them on top of the entire league. Capitals are also on a good run with 6 wins in the last 10 games. On the other hand, Lightning was one of the favorites before the season started but they are currently fighting to get into the playoffs with 26 points.

However, Tampa Bay is also in good form with 6 wins in their last 10 games and we expect this to be an interesting duel. We suggest betting on goals instead of the final score since both teams score at a high rate.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Total Goals

St. Louis Blues @ Dallas Stars

The reigning champs are going to Dallas to play against one of the hottest teams in the NHL right now. After a bad start, Stars have put on a show and enter this game with 8 wins in their last 10 games. Blues are still in front of Dallas in the standings but they are 5-5 in their last 10 games.

Despite this, we expect this to be a tight duel. We would suggest backing Blues on the puckline or if you are not sure about it, betting on under since both teams rely on defense more than offense.

Sabres looked like one of the better teams in the conference before November but they have only one 2 games this month and now they find themselves out of the playoff picture. Sabres are 1-4 in their last five games, the same record as their opponents tonight.

All of this indicates that we will see a tight contest. However, we believe that Sabres will be able to take the home court advantage and improve their record in November.

Our Pick: Sabres on the Moneyline

Florida Panthers @ Washington Capitals

Probably the most interesting duel of the night, this game should be very entertaining since both teams have been great this season, especially Capitals who are tied with Bruins for the best record in the East. However, Capitals are 2-3 in their last five games, while Panthers are on a 2-game losing streak.

Since both teams will be looking to get back on the winning track, we believe it is best to stay clear of betting on the final score. Instead, we suggest betting on over because both teams are in top 3 offenses this year and average more than 3.6 goals scored.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Total Points

Boston Bruins @ Ottawa Senators

Bruins enter this game after a convincing 8-1 win against Canadiens in Montreal. They are also on a 4-game winning streak and they have looked like real contenders the entire season. On the other hand, Senators are one of the worst teams in the league but they have been solid lately, with 5 wins in 7 games.

Despite the good form of Senators and the fact that this is the second game of back-to-back on road for Bruins, we believe they can get the win tonight, especially considering the fact that Boston has won 9 out of the last 10 duels between these two teams.

Our Pick: Bruins on the Moneyline

Vegas Golden Knights @ Nashville Predators

Golden Knights are struggling right now since they are on a 3-game losing streak and have just 2 wins in their last 10 games. On the other hand, Predators enter this game after two straight wins over the reigning champions, which ended their 6-game losing streak.

Both of these teams are wildly inconsistent this season, so betting on the final score may not be the best decision, although we would put our money on Predators if we had to. However, taking over in this game is a much safer bet since both teams are solid offensively but they also allow around 3 goals per game.

Bruins are one of the early-season favorites to win the Eastern Conference and they enter this game tied for the 2nd place in the entire league with 35 points. Canadiens have 27 points for the season and they are one of the teams looking to improve a bit and get into playoffs. However, they are also on a 4-game losing streak now.

We think Bruins will be able to get the win here but we would rather put our money on goals. Both teams are in the top 10 when it comes to goals scored, so over seems like a logical bet.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Total Goals

Minnesota Wild @ New Jersey Devils

This is a clash between two of the worst teams in the league. Wild enter this game after an overtime loss against Rangers but they have been playing better recently with two wins in their last four games. Devils are also on a solid run, with three wins in five games.

Since Minnesota is poor on the road this season and this being their second game of back-to-back, we would pick Devils to win tonight.

Our Pick: Devils on the Moneyline

Dallas Stars @ Chicago Blackhawks

After a poor start to the season, Dallas is probably the hottest team in the league right now. They have a record of 10-1 in November and they are currently on a 7-game winning streak. On the other hand, Blackhawks have been playing badly the entire season and they are entering this game with three straight losses.

While the home court should be an advantage for Chicago, we just don’t see how they can get anything other than a respectable loss from this game.

Penguins are still one of the better teams in the league, despite their players getting older. They are currently occupying 6th place in the Eastern Conference with 28 points but they are struggling lately since they lost 3 out of their last 5 games. On the other hand, Flames just ended their 6-game losing streak with a shootout win over Flyers on Saturday.

While neither team is in good form, Penguins have a better head-to-head record against Flames at home and we expect them to win this game too.

Our Pick: Penguins on the Moneyline

Buffalo Sabres @ Tampa Bay Lightning

Sabres will try to finish their road trip to Florida with another win after they beat Panthers a couple of days ago. Sabres have been on a bad run lately, with that win marking only the second victory in 10 games.

Lightening has started the season below expectations but now they have a chance to get a third straight win and extend the good run. We believe they are ready to take it.

Our Pick: Lightning on the Puckline

Minnesota Wild @ New York Rangers

Rangers enter this game with a win in their last game but they are inconsistent and average at best. Wild are still second to last in the West but they have been on a small winning streak of two game before losing to Bruins in overtime.

This seems like a match where anything is possible, although we would bet on Minnesota if we had to. But we believe that betting on over is a smarter bet since both team are pretty bad in defense.

Our Pick: Over 6 Total Goals

St. Louis Blues @ Nashville Predators

This will be a rematch of a game played a couple of days ago in St. Louis. Predators got a surprising win in that game and they will be looking to repeat that kind of performance in front of their fans. But before that win, Predators were on a 6-game losing streak.

On the other hand, Blues are playing great hockey and they will be motivated to get the revenge tonight. We would back the reigning champs in this game.

We always support in-form teams and in this case Panthers seem like a smart choice. Sabres have to end their bad run sometime but we don’t expect that to happen tonight.

Our Pick: Sabres on the Moneyline

Carolina Hurricanes @ Detroit Red Wings

Hurricanes enter this game with a win against Panthers in their last game and they now have 4 wins in their last 5 games. On the other hand, Red Wings have been bad the entire season and find themselves in the last place in the Atlantic Division. Detroit is also on a 5-game losing streak at the moment.

Although Red Wings have a slight advantage in recent head-to-head games between these two teams, it seems that they are in a bad position for this game, especially since they have injury problems as well.

Our Pick: Hurricanes on the Moneyline

Edmonton Oilers @ Arizona Coyotes

Oilers are having a great season and they are tied with Blues for the best record in the West. They also enter this game with a win against Vegas on the road. However, Coyotes are also playing well since they only have 3 points fewer than Oilers. While we fancy Oilers in general, this is their second game of back-to-back on the road and we expect them to struggle a bit.

With that in mind, we believe it is better to bet on goals in this game. Both teams are great defensively, especially Coyotes who are allowing just 2.26 goals per game, fewest in the NHL. Take the under.

Tampa Bay was one of the favorites for championship before the start of the season. Unfortunately for them, they have been inconsistent this season and find themselves on the 12th spot in the conference. Ducks are in similar position when it comes to rankings but they are in poor form with just one win in their last eight games.

We expect Lightning to raise the form soon and this match could be a perfect place to start. Back Tampa Bay on the moneyline.

Our Pick: Lightning on the Moneyline

Toronto Maple Leafs @ Colorado Avalanche

After a 6-game losing streak, Maple Leafs fired their coach and the team responded with a win. However, they will now play against Colorado, who has been in good form recently, winning 5 out of their last 7 games.

While this should be a very tight contest, we expect Avalanche to come on top. After all, we always like to back in-form teams.

Our Pick: Avalanche on the Moneyline

Nashville Predators @ St. Louis Blues

The reigning champions are playing great hockey this season as well since they are first in the Western Conference with 33 points. On the other hand, Predators have started the season well but they have been horrendous recently since they have lost six in a row and 8 out of their last 9 games.

Getting out of the rut against one of the best teams in the NHL is not going to be an easy task and we don’t think it is possible even.

Our Pick: Blues on the Puckline

New York Islanders @ San Jose Sharks

Islanders are one of the best teams in the league this season. They already had a 10-game winning streak before and now they are on a 5-game winning streak as well. They have won 15 out of their last 16 games and look like a true contender.

However, Sharks have been on a great run as well, winning 7 out of their last 8 games. We expect this to be a very tight game, so we suggest taking Islanders on the puckline.

On the other hand, Penguins have only one win in their last five games and they are definitely not in their best form. We expect a tight contest and believe that taking Devils on the puckline is a smart bet.

Our Pick: Devils on the Puckline

New York Rangers @ Ottawa Senators

Senators have been a pleasant surprise so far in the season. They don’t have an impressive record since they have started the season with one win in 7 games but they are not far from a playoff spot since they have been in great form lately with 4 wins out of their last 5 games.

This will already be a third meeting of these two teams and the previous two were quite interesting. The first game saw Penguins break off a 10-win streak of Islanders. Their second game happened only three days ago, when Islanders kept their new winning streak alive. And both of these games were decided in overtime.

While betting on over may seem like a safer bet since these teams like to put on a show this season, we believe that Islanders can get their 5th win in a row tonight.

Our Pick: Islanders on the Moneyline

Buffalo Sabres @ Boston Bruins

Sabres have gone completely cold after a hot start they had. They enter this game with just one win in their last five games. On the other hand, Boston is pretty consistent this season, although they are struggling with injuries lately.

Bruins also dominate Sabres in their recent matches since they have 8 wins in their last 10 games. We expect this streak to continue this evening in TD Garden.

Our Pick: Bruins on the Puckline

Calgary Flames @ St. Louis Blues

The reigning champions are tied for the best record in the Western Conference with 31 points and they will be looking to extend their good run tonight against struggling Flames who have lost their last 5 games in a row.

We expect Blues to improve on their record tonight with a win but we don’t expect many goals too. So, we suggest taking your pick – Blues on moneyline or under 5.5 total goals.

Our Pick: Blues on the Moneyline

Colorado Avalanche @ Minnesota Wild

Colorado is having a great season and after more than a few games in which they struggled and had a big losing streak, they are back on the winning track now with five wins in their last six games. On the other hand, Minnesota is one of the worst teams in the league although they have been playing a bit better lately with 3 wins in last 5 games.

Wild is certainly not without chances tonight but we still expect the Avs to snatch a valuable road win in this one.

While this could be a very tight contest, we expect Canadiens to get back on winning track and get one over their rivals.

Our Pick: Canadiens on the Moneyline

Washington Capitals @New York Rangers

Capitals are dominating the league this season, which is why they are at the top of the standings with 36 points from 23 games. On the other hand, Rangers are struggling this season, with just 8 wins in 18 games. Capitals have 3 wins in the last 5 games, while Rangers have 2 wins in their last 5 games, so the form is similar for both teams.

But Capitals are simply a better team and they have been playing well this season, which is why we suggest taking them on the moneyline.

Flyers were on a hot streak for a while and it seemed like they are about to move up the ladder even more. However, they have gone cold recently and lost three straight games, although two of them were after shootouts. On the other hand, Panthers are in good form with three wins in their last four games.

In addition to this, Panthers have a much better record against Flyers in recent matchups since they have won 4 out of their last 5 games. We believe they can keep that streak going tonight.

Our Pick: Panthers on the Moneyline

Minnesota Wild @ Buffalo Sabres

Minnesota is currently lying at the bottom of the Western Conference with just 16 points. They seem like one of the worst teams in the league, although they did win two out of their last five games. On the other hand, Sabres look like a borderline playoff team with 23 points, one less than Flayers who are 8th seed in the East.

Despite the fact that Sabres are on a bad run since they lost four out of their last five games, they should benefit from the fact that they are hosting one of the worst teams in the league and get the W to help them regain their confidence.

Our Pick: Sabres on the Moneyline

Boston Bruins @ New Jersey Devils

After playing impressive hockey and establishing themselves as one of the early favorites in the East, Bruins have hit a bit of a snag recently. They have lost four out of the last five games but they are also struggling with injuries in the process.

This will be a problem for them tonight as well but they will be playing one of the worst teams in the East, so they will rightfully hope to get out of their bad run. We would back them to do exactly that.

Our Pick: Bruins on the Moneyline

Winnipeg Jets @ Nashville Predators

Jets are entering into this game after a solid win against Lightning and they are generally playing well recently with 4 wins in last 5 games. On the other hand, Predators are on a very bad run, losing four in a row and getting blown out by Blackhawks 7-2 in their last match.

While Nashville is usually a good team to back at home, it seems like they are in for another tough match. We suggest betting on goals instead of the final score since both teams have shown that they can score efficiently.

On the other hand, Ducks have pulled off a win against Blues on the road in their last game, breaking their losing streak. Anaheim is usually playing well against Capitals since they won four out of their last five meetings.

However, we expect Capitals to justify the favorite tag and win this game convincingly, perhaps even on the puckline.

Our Pick: Capitals on the Puckline

Los Angeles Kings @ Arizona Coyotes

Kings have improved a lot recently since they are currently on a three-game winning streak and they seem confident in their ability to move up in the standings since they are still second-to-last in the Western Conference. However, Coyotes have been playing well lately as well, winning three out of their last four games.

We believe that Coyotes are a better team and with home-court advantage we expect them to break the winning streak of Kings tonight, especially since they have been a better team in their recent head-to-head meetings with 6 wins in 10 games.

Buffalo Sabres @ Chicago Blackhawks

Blackhawks are pretty inconsistent this season. They have a record of 8-11 but they are only 4 points behind the last playoff spot. With plenty of time left in the season, Chicago could get into the playoff race, especially since they are on a good run with 3 straight wins.

On the other hand, Sabres have a bit better season with a record of 10-9 and they enter this game after a win over Senators that ended their 6-game losing streak. Blackhawks seem in better form at the moment and they have also been dominating the series against Sabres lately since they have 14 wins in their last 15 matches.

Our Pick: Blackhawks on the Moneyline

Calgary Flames @ Vegas Golden Knights

Vegas started the season well but they are currently on a very bad run with 5 straight losses, which is why they have fallen down in the rankings. Calgary Flames are also pretty inconsistent and have only 2 points more than Vegas.

This seems like a hard match to predict the winner, so it might be better to bet on goals instead. Both teams score less than 3 goals per match and allow around 3 goals per game as well. With that in mind, we believe that betting on under is a smart choice.

Our Pick: Under 6 Total Goals

Dallas Stars @ Edmonton Oilers

Stars are on a great run at the moment, with 6 wins in their last 7 games. After a bad start, Dallas has now managed to get into the playoff picture with 10 wins and 10 losses. On the other hand, Edmonton has played well from the start and they have 13 wins to show for it.

Dallas has been dominating the head-to-head series with Oilers, winning 4 out of their last 5 matchups. However, Oilers have been impressive at home this season, while Stars have struggled on the road. Despite their great form, we expect Stars to lose tonight.

Our Pick: Oilers on the Moneyline

New York Islanders @ Philadelphia Flyers

Islanders are playing really well this season, having suffered only 4 losses in 17 games. They are on a 2-game winning streak and have won 4 out of their last 5 matches. On the other hand, Flyers have lost their last two games, although they have been on a good run before that.

We expect this to be an interesting duel but we still think Islanders will come out of it with a win in their pocket.

Our Pick: Islanders on the Moneyline

New York Rangers @ Florida Panthers

Despite losing their last game at home to Winnipeg, Panthers are looking good at the moment having won two straight games before that. Rangers are also finding their form recently, winning three out of their last five games. However, Rangers suffered an embarrassing loss in their last game since they conceded 9 goals to Tampa Bay.

This looks like a duel of two evenly matched teams and we think it is best to avoid betting on the final score. Instead, we believe that betting on over is a smart choice since Panthers score 3.68 goals per match and it looks like there will be plenty of goals tonight.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Total Goals

Anaheim Ducks @ St. Louis Blues

The reigning champs have lost two games in the row now but they still have the best record in the Eastern Conference. On the other hand, Ducks are currently on an even worse run since they lost five games in a row.

While Blues do seem like they have hit a bump in their form, this is a perfect match for them to get back on track in front of their fans against a struggling team.

Boston Bruins @ Toronto Maple Leafs

A very interesting duel will take place in Toronto tonight with Bruins paying a visit to Maple Leafs. Leafs are not in a good form since they lost three games in a row but Boston is also struggling at the moment since they have 4 losses in a row as well, all of which have come against teams lower in the standings.

With that in mind, and taking into account the fact that Bruins have a lot of injury problems, we suggest taking Leafs for tonight.

Our Pick: Maple Leafs on the Moneyline

Montreal Canadiens @ Washington Capitals

Capitals are the best team so far in the NHL since they top the rankings with 32 points. They also have lost just once in their previous 8 games, which was a shootout loss against Arizona. Canadiens are not that far behind either, with 23 points from 18 games.

They have won two games in a row but they will now face Washington who has been dominating their head-to-head matchups with 6 wins in the last 10 meetings.

Our Pick: Capitals on the Moneyline

St. Louis Blues @ Columbus Blue Jackets

The reigning champs are red-hot at the moment, winning 7 out of their last 8 games. Their only loss came against Coyotes in a shootout in their last match. On the other hand, Blue Jackets are struggling lately since they have just one win in their last six games.

We like to back in-form teams, as you probably know by now, so we suggest betting on Blues in this match.

New York Rangers @ Tampa Bay Lightning

In one of the most interesting games of the evening, Lightning will play host to Rangers as both teams look to improve on their good form. Rangers have won 3 out of their last 4 games, while Tampa Bay has the same score in the last four games.

Both teams have 18 points and it seems that we are about to witness a very close game. With that in mind, we suggest betting on under because we expect good defensive performances from both teams.

Our Pick: Under 6.5 Total Goals

Carolina Hurricanes @ Buffalo Sabres

Hurricanes have gotten off to a solid start with 21 points to their name but they probably expected more before the season. Sabres are right behind them with 20 points but they are on a 5-game losing streak at the moment. Hurricanes are not much better in this regard, since they only have one win in their last five games.

While Sabres have the home court advantage, we believe that Carolina has a bit of an edge tonight because they come into this game after a convincing 8-2 win against Senators. In addition to this, Carolina has won 9 out of 10 previous matchups with Sabres.

Our Pick: Hurricanes on the Moneyline

Colorado Avalanche @ Edmonton Oilers

This is a match where anything is possible and we genuinely don’t have the slightest idea who may come on top. That being said, it seems like Avalanche is in a bit better form right now having won their last three games. Oilers enter this game after a convincing loss against Sharks and we would give a small advantage to Avs tonight.

However, we also believe that betting on goals is a better choice. Both teams score at a high rate and over in this game seems like a solid bet.

Our Pick: Over 6 Total Goals

San Jose Sharks @ Anaheim Ducks

This matchup should be very interesting since both teams are extremely inconsistent this season and it’s hard to expect anything from them. Sharks are pretty bad away from home with just two wins on the road this season. However, Sharks are on a 4-game winning streaks, while Ducks have lost four games in a row.

We like to back in-form teams and we feel that the time for Sharks to improve their record in away games tonight.

Toronto Maple Leafs @ New York Islanders

Islanders got back on the winning track with a win over Florida after they ended their 10-game winning streak against Penguins before that. So, they seem ready to get on to their next winning streak. Maple Leafs will stand in their way tonight and while they have lost two of their last three games, they are good enough to make Islanders work for it.

Leafs also have a slightly better head-to-head record recently since they won 6 out of their last 10 matchups. Despite this, we like to back teams that are in form, which Islanders definitely are.

Our Pick: Islanders on the Moneyline

Washington Capitals @ Philadelphia Flyers

After losing the game in shootout to Coyotes last night, Capitals will be looking to bounce back against Flyers on the road. They are in good form, winning 4 out of their last 5 games. They are also the best team in the NHL right now, with 30 points from 19 games.

On the other hand, Flyers are also playing well, winning 4 games in a row, although their last three wins have come in overtime, two of which in penalty shootouts. So, it seems that we are in for a treat tonight but we still believe in Capitals to get the win.

Our Pick: Capitals on the Moneyline

Chicago Blackhawks @ Vegas Golden Knights

Golden Knights are pretty inconsistent this season but they are still one of the better teams in the league since they are currently occupying 9th place in the Western Conference with 21 points. However, they also lost 4 out of their last 5 games while Blackhawks have found a bit of a form after their bad start with 3 wins in 5 games.

With that in mind, we feel it is better to avoid betting on the final score and try over in this game. Although both teams score less than 3 goals per game, their defenses are not that great and over has come in 7 out of their last 8 duels.

Columbus Blue Jackets @ Montreal Canadiens

Blue Jackets are entering this game after losing 7 out of their last 10 games and they don’t look rich with confidence at the moment. On the other hand, Canadiens are far from consistent this season, although they have a solid record and show glimpses of enormous potential occasionally.

Despite Blue Jackets winning 6 out of their last 10 head-to-head matches, we believe that Canadiens will win easily tonight since they are in better form and have the home court advantage.

Our Pick: Canadiens on the Moneyline

Pittsburgh Penguins @ New York Rangers

One of the most interesting duels of the day will be played a Madison Square garden where Rangers will take on Penguins. Both teams are in good form, with Penguins being the team to break the winning streak of Islanders that spanned for 10 games. Rangers have won 4 out of their last 6 matches and look to extend their good run in front of their supporters.

With the final score being too hard to predict, we suggest betting on total goals. Both teams average around 3.4 goals per match and that kind of offense should help them get over the total set at 6.5 goals.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Total Goals

Colorado Avalanche @ Winnipeg Jets

Avalanche has finally snapped out of the rut, winning their last two games after losing five games in the row before that. Colorado had a very strong start and they still have a great record, despite this slip in form. On the other hand, Jets are also playing well, winning four out of the last five games.

With Jets in good form and having home court advantage, we feel like they could get the win in this game, especially since Avalanche has some injury problems to deal with as well.

Our Pick: Jets on the Moneyline

Nashville Predators @ Vancouver Canucks

Canucks are really struggling at the moment, losing 4 games in a row and only winning one game out of their last six. On the other hand, Predators are also on a 2-game losing streak. Both teams have 21 points so far in the season and it seems like this is going to be a very tight match.

While we lean towards Predators, we suggest betting on goals as a smarter choice. Both teams have very good offenses and we expect the game to have plenty of goals.

Arizona Coyotes @ Washington Capitals

Arizona lost the momentum it had to start the season in recent games since they have now lost three games in a row. On the other hand, Capitals are playing great hockey. They have won 9 out of their last 10 games and have a record of 13-5, good enough to put them on top of the Eastern Conference.

Since we like to back in-form teams and we don’t see any other outcome tonight than a convincing Washington win, we suggest betting on Capitals.

Our Pick: Capitals on the Puckline

Ottawa Senators @ Carolina Hurricanes

In their previous game just a few days ago, Senators managed to get the win against Hurricanes. Ottawa is also on a good run overall, with three wins in the last four games. On the other hand, Carolina is going into this match with four straight losses under the belt.

While Senators seem like a good pick on the surface, they are not playing well on the road, losing 7 out of their 8 games. We believe that it is time for Hurricanes to end their bad run tonight.

Toronto Maple Leafs @ Chicago Blackhawks

After losing to Flyers at home last night, Maple Leafs are heading to Chicago to try and get back on the winning track since they had a 3-game winning streak before. They also have one of the best records in the league, sitting 4th in the Eastern Conference with 22 points right now. On the other hand, Blackhawks are having a poor season so far and enter this game after a shootout loss to Penguins.

While Blackhawks have been dominating the matchup with Maple Leafs, winning 7 out of their last 10 games, we still expect Toronto to come out with the win tonight.

Our Pick: Maple Leafs on the Moneyline

Philadelphia Flyers @ Boston Bruins

Flyers are flying how at the moment, winning 4 out of their last 5 games, including the away win against Maple Leafs that ended their winning streak. However, 3 out of those 4 games have come in overtime and this will be their second game of back-to back against one of the best teams in the league.

While there is certainly a lot of room for a surprise tonight, Bruins are still heavy favorites to win and we like their chances since they have been in from for so long now.

Our Pick: Bruins on the Puckline

Edmonton Oilers @ Anaheim Ducks

Oilers just snapped their 2-game losing streak on Friday, while Ducks have also lost two games in a row before this game. So, while both teams are in the playoff picture at the moment, they seem to be in a bit of a rut and this should be a very interesting game with uncertain result.

With that in mind, we suggest betting on goals here. Both teams average slightly less than 3 goals per game and their defenses allow 2.5 goals per game, so backing under seems like a smart thing to do.

Chicago Blackhawks @ Pittsburgh Penguins

Blackhawks are struggling this season, having a record of 5-10. However, they have won two of their last three games and seemed like they were getting into form. On the other hand, Pittsburgh is playing well and has a record of 9-7.

Penguins also ended 10-game winning streak of Islanders in their last game with an overtime win. But Blackhawks have been dominating Penguins lately, winning all 10 of their most recent games. We believe it is time to end that run.

Our Pick: Penguins on the Moneyline

Vegas Golden Knights @ Washington Capitals

After falling to Maple Leafs on Thursday, Knights have now lost three of their last four games. And after the loss of Islanders against Penguins, now Capitals have the longest winning streak, spanning ten games at the moment.

While Vegas is a good team, their recent form suggests that they will struggle tonight and we like to back in-form teams. Take Capitals on the moneyline.

Our Pick: Capitals on the Moneyline

St. Louis Blues @ Calgary Flames

Blues have won 6 games in a row and the reigning champs come into this game with a lot of confidence. On the other hand, Flames are also in good form, winning 4 out of their last 5 games. All things considered, we believe that final score is best left alone.

On the goals front, both teams are scoring around 3 goals per game but they also have allowed less than 3 goals per game so far. We believe under is the smart bet.

Our Pick: Under 6 Total Goals

Nashville Predators @ San Jose Sharks

Predators come into this game after a devastating 9-4 loss against Avalanche. This was their third loss in four games, so it’s safe to say that they are struggling at the moment. On the other hand, Sharks are having a bad season with just 6 wins in 17 games.

While Predators seem to be in a rut, we like their chances tonight and we believe they will manage to get back on the winning track.

Boston Bruins @ Detroit Red Wings

Bruins are one of the best teams in the league this season, so it seems that their trip to the Finals last year was only a sign of things to come. On the other hand, Red Wings are having a horrible season with just 4 wins in 17 games and have lost their last four games in a row.

It’s unlikely that Red Wings can get their win number five tonight, so put your money on Bruins on the puckline.

Our Pick: Bruins on the Puckline

Vancouver Canucks @ Winnipeg Jets

Both teams have a similar record and enter this game in a similar form. The slight advantage goes to Jets because they are playing at home but we would rather avoid betting on the final outcome here.

Instead, we prefer backing under because Jets and Canucks usually play low-scoring games. For example, seven of their previous ten games ended up with less than 6 goals. In addition to this, neither team is among the top teams offensively, so under seems like a logical choice.

Our Pick: Under 6 Total Goals

New Jersey Devils @ Edmonton Oilers

This will be the second game of back-to-back for Devils and they will be playing against one of the best teams in the Western Conference. However, Oilers are in a bit of a rut since they lost their previous two games and have lost 3 out of their last 5.

We believe that Oilers will take these results as an extra motivation for tonight and pull a much-needed win to get back on the winning side.

Capitals have the best record in the league at the moment and they are looking like legitimate contenders for the title. On the other hand, Panthers are in the playoff race and come into this game after two straight wins.

Predicting the winner tonight is a tough task, so we suggest betting on goals. Both teams are in the top 5 in goals scored but Panthers also have one of the worst defensive records. Take the over.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Goals

New York Rangers @ Carolina Hurricanes

Rangers have a good momentum, winning 4 out of their last 6 games. However, they also played last night and we expect them to be tired. In addition to playing on the road against a solid playoff team, it we believe that Rangers will lose tonight.

However, we also feel that taking over is a safer bet since both teams score over 3 goals per match this season.

Our Pick: Over 6.5

Pittsburgh Penguins @ New York Islanders

The winning streak of Islanders has reached 10 games now and they truly look unbeatable at the moment. And while this streak has to end at some point, we don’t think it will happen tonight.

While Penguins are a borderline playoff team and Islanders have some injury problems, Penguins are pretty bad on the road this season with just 3 wins in the last 9 games and their poor away form should continue in this game.

Our Pick: Islanders on the Moneyline

Los Angeles Kings @ Ottawa Senators

While both of these teams are struggling this season, it seems that Senators are slightly worse so far. However, they are 2-2 in their most recent games and seem to be finding their form a bit. Kings, on the other hand, have only won 1 of their last 6 games.

Senators do have some injury problems and we feel like that might be a tip on the scales for Kings in this game.

After losing 5 games in a row, Rangers got two wins in their last four matches and it looks like they are starting to turn their form around. However, they also lost their previous match with Senators at home 6-2, so we are not ready yet to declare that they have found their form.

But tonight Rangers are playing hosts for Red Wings, a team with one of the worst records in the league. Detroit also lost 9 out of last 10 games and seem completely hopeless at the moment.

Our Pick: Rangers on the Moneyline

St. Louis Blues @ Edmonton Oilers

Blues are red-hot at the moment, winning seven out of their last eight games, although their last three wins came in overtime. On the other hand, Oilers have one of the best records in the West with 22 points, just one point less than Blues. Oilers also have the home advantage and Blues are playing their second game of back-to-back.

With all being said, we feel that Oilers can break the winning streak Blues are on and get a tight win tonight.

Senators will play their second game of back-to-back after winning against Rangers last night. However, they will have a much harder task tonight since Islanders are on a great run of nine straight wins.

Islanders are dominating the competition right now and this is unlikely to change against a pretty inconsistent Senators team. On top of all that, Senators are also having injury problems and a bad head-to-head record against Islanders with 5 straight losses.

Our Pick: Islanders on the Puckline

Boston Bruins @ Montreal Canadiens

Bruins are looking unbeatable at the moment since they have a record of 11-3 and winning streak spanning 6 games. They come into this game after a home win against Penguins last night, so they may be a bit tired in this second game of back-to-back.

On the other hand, Canadiens are pretty inconsistent this season with a record of 7-7 and they come into this game after 4-1 loss to the Stars. We like the odds on Bruins and if you are afraid to back them on the road in their second game in two nights, you can take them on the puckline.

Our Pick: Boston Bruins on the Moneyline

Los Angeles Kings @ Toronto Maple Leafs

Kings finally ended their 4-game losing streak after winning against Blackhawks in overtime in their last duel but they are still one of the worst teams in the league this season with a 5-9 record. However, Maple Leafs are not great either since they have a 7-8 record, although they come into this game after a road win in Philadelphia.

It is best to avoid the final score and back over in this game since Toronto is one of the best teams in the league in scoring while Kings are one of the worst defensive teams.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Total Goals

Colorado Avalanche @ Dallas Stars

Colorado looked like a true contender at the start of the season but now they look like a completely different team since they are on a 4-game losing streak. In addition to this, they have managed to score just 6 goals in their last 7 matches and it seems like they have completely lost their momentum.

On the other hand, Dallas is on a good run after they started the season poorly. They have won 6 out of their last 7 games and have already beaten Avalanche once this season. We always like to bet on in-form teams, which is clearly Dallas in this case.

Both teams have started the season badly and have negative records at the moment. Senators are coming into this match after a 5-2 loss to Bruins but they have managed to win 3 out of their last 5 games.

On the other hand, Rangers are on a two-game winning streak and hope to continue this with a home win. We like the Rangers in this game.

Our Pick: Rangers on the Moneyline

Pittsburgh Penguins @ Boston Bruins

Boston is having a great season so far and they are looking like a team ready to get back to the Finals and get the Cup this year. They have a record of 10 wins and just 3 losses and look to keep their good form going against Pittsburgh.

However, Penguins are also solid this season with a record of 8-6. Unfortunately for them, they are usually getting beaten at Boston since they have lost six straight games to Bruins on the road. We believe this trend will continue tonight.

Our Pick: Bruins on the Moneyline

Nashville Predators @ Detroit Red Wings

Predators are having a good start to the season with a record of 8 wins and 6 losses. On the other hand, Red Wings are sitting near the bottom of the table and have lost 4 out of their 5 matches. Although we lean towards Predators in this game despite their 2-game losing streak, we suggest taking a look at goals.

While Red Wings are not very efficient with an average of around 2 goals scored per match, they are also bad defensively and allow almost 4 goals per contest. It seems that taking over in this game is a smart choice.

Calgary is on the road trip in the East and their next stop is Washington where they will be looking for their third win in the row on this tough road trip. However, this is probably their hardest task yet since Capitals are currently on top of the Eastern Conference with a record of 10-5.

In addition to this, Capitals are on a three-game winning streak and we like their chances in this one despite their average record at home with 3 wins and 3 losses.

Our Pick: Capitals on the Moneyline

Chicago Blackhawks @ Anaheim Ducks

Blackhawks are sitting at the bottom of the Western Conference and it does not seem like they are about to get out of there anytime soon. Now they are going to Anaheim to play with Ducks, who are playing well this season and have a record of 9-6.

Despite this, we feel that it is better to back under in this game. After all, Blackhawks have scored one or fewer goals in 4 out of their 5 most recent matches, while Ducks are not really a great scoring team.

Hurricanes are having a great season and a record of 9-4. It seems that their good form is here to stay and we expect them to fight for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. New Jersey Devils, on the other hand, are at the bottom of the conference with a record of 2-9.

With this being a second game of back-to-back for both teams, we don’t expect much in terms of goals. So we suggest staying safe and backing Hurricane on the moneyline.

Our Pick: Hurricanes on the Moneyline

Montreal Canadiens @ Dallas Stars

After a disappointing start, Dallas has found a way to turn things around and start winning. Stars are on a two-game winning streak and have won 4 out of their last 5 games. However, Canadiens are also on a good run, winning three straight games.

So, this should be a very tight contest and we would avoid betting on final score. Instead, we suggest backing under since Dallas is one of the worst teams in scoring and one of the best defensive teams.

Our Pick: Under 5.5 Total Goals

Detroit Red Wings @ Florida Panthers

Panthers are looking like a borderline playoff team this season with a record of 6-7. They are also on a good run with three straight wins, including a win against Avalanche on the road.

On the other hand, Red Wings are not playing well this season and they come into this game after a 7-3 loss against Hurricanes last night. We expect them to lose another game and with a solid margin.

Our Pick: Panthers on the Puckline

Minnesota Wild @ St. Louis Blues

St. Louis is playing well in recent games, after getting off to a bit rocky start after their championship season. They have 4 wins in last 5 games and have started to climb the standings. On the other hand, Wild is sitting near the bottom of the conference and doesn’t seem likely to move much higher.

Given the fact that these two times played on Wednesday and that Blues won that game 2-1, we expect another win for the reigning champs.

Tampa Bay Lightning @ New York Islanders

In what should be a tight contest, Lighting is a slight odds favorite despite the fact that Islanders are in much better form and have a home court advantage. In fact, Islanders are on a 7-game winning streak and have won their last four games at home.

The only thing in favor of Lightning is the recent head-to-head score since they have won 8 out of 10 most recent matches against Islanders. Still, we feel this is a good opportunity to take advantage of great odds and bet on the in-form team.

Our Pick: Islanders on the Moneyline

Columbus Blue Jackets @ St. Louis Blues

The reigning champs are playing well this season and have a record of 7-4 at the moment. However, they have won 4 out of their last 5 matches and seem to be only getting in form. On the other hand, Blue Jackets are at 5-7 and come into this game after two straight losses.

With recent head-to-head history on the side of the Stanley Cup winners as well, this seems like a clear-cut win for St. Louis.

Our Pick: St. Louis on the Moneyline

Dallas Stars @ Colorado Avalanche

Colorado is tied for the second place in the Western Conference and is having a great season so far. However, they have had a bit of a blimp with two straight losses, both of which have come at their home court.

Dallas, however, has been struggling this season and playing well below expectations. But they have been on a good run lately, winning 4 out of their 5 matches. Still, this seems like the perfect opportunity for Avalanche to get back on the winning track after a bad run.

Our Pick: Avalanche on the Moneyline

Vancouver Canucks @ Anaheim Ducks

Both teams are playing well this season, although Canucks are in a bit better form with four wins in last five games. However, this should be a very tight contest and we feel it’s best to leave the final score out of your betting plans.

Instead, you should try betting on over since both teams have strong offenses and should score plenty of goals together.

Calgary Flames @ Nashville Predators

Predators are cruising right now. They are on a 4-game winning streak and have one of the best home court records in the entire league with just one loss in eight matches. On the other hand, Flames only have two wins in road games so far and they come into this match after two losses in a row.

With all that being said, it is only logical to back the home team in this matchup, especially since odds on moneyline are not that bad.

Our Pick: Predators on the Moneyline

Montreal Canadians @ Vegas Golden Knights

Canadians enter this game with a record of around .500 and they will be looking to improve their standings. They also won their last game against Maple Leafs and probably feel confident enough before this match.

On the other hand, Vegas is having a good season, with 8 wins in 13 matches. However, they are not really great at home, having a record of 4-3 so far. Couple that with low odds on Golden Knights and we feel it’s better to bet on goals since it seems like over is a good choice for these two teams.

Tampa Bay Lightning @ New Jersey Devils

Tampa Bay is having a disappointing season so far, especially considering the fact that they were Vegas favorites for the title. They have a record of 6-6 and come into this game with a 2-game losing streak. However, Devils are even worse since they stand at the bottom of the Conference with just two wins in the season.

When you take into account that Lightning has 7 wins in their last 10 meetings, it seems prudent to take a chance on solid odds and back Tampa Bay.

Our Pick: Lightning on the Moneyline

Edmonton Oilers @ Columbus Blue Jackets

Both teams enter this game with similar records, so we expect a pretty tight contest tonight. While both of them have suffered somewhat surprising losses in the last game, they will look to bounce back with a win.

For this reason, we feel that final result should be avoided and we suggest betting on goals. Oilers are one of the more efficient teams in the league and with Columbus needing to set the pace early on, we expect this game to have plenty of goals.

Our Suggestion: Over 6 Total Goals

Minnesota Wild @ St. Louis Blues

The reigning champs are still far from the form that helped them win the Stanley Cup. They are 8th in the Western Conference at the moment with a score of 6-6 but we fully expect them to pick up the pace in the future.

Hosting Minnesota actually seems like a perfect place to start. With one of the worst records in the league, Wild will struggle to get something out of this game as well.

Calgary Flames @ Carolina Hurricanes

Carolina is having a strong start to the season, with 7 wins and 4 losses. However, they were on a three-game losing streak before they won against Blackhawks in their last game. On the other hand, Flames are pretty inconsistent this season, with a record of 6-7.

Even though Flames have a great record against teams from Metropolitan Division, and have 4 wins in 5 most recent games against Hurricanes, we prefer Hurricanes in this match because they have been great at home this season.

Our Pick: Hurricanes on the Moneyline

Philadelphia Flyers @ Pittsburgh Penguins

In what promises to be a very tight contest, Penguins are hosting their fierce division rivals Flyers. Both teams enter this game with similar records, although Flyers seem to be in a bit better form at the moment.

However, betting on final score in this game is better avoided. We suggest backing under tonight despite the fact that both teams score more than 3 goals on average. The reason lies in their head-to-head record, where these teams combined for 6 or fewer goals in three out of their last four games.

Our Pick: Under 6.5 Total Goals

San Jose Sharks @ Boston Bruins

San Jose is having a bad season so far, at least compared to what they probably expected before it all started. They also lost 4 out of their last 5 games. On the other hand, Bruins are playing well and have a record of 8-3 at the moment.

In addition to this, Bruins won 7 out of their last 10 meetings with Sharks. With all this to back it up, we feel that betting on Bruins is pretty safe thing to do.

Our Pick: Bruins on the Puckline

Chicago Blackhawks @ Nashville Predators

Predators are on a good run, winning their last three games in a row. They also lead the league in goals scored with an average slightly above 4 goals per game. On the other hand, Blackhawks are struggling at the moment, with an unimpressive 3-7 record to start the season.

Although we lean towards Predators here and it does seem like a safe moneyline bet, we prefer goals in this match. We suggest backing over since we expect Predators to score like they did so far, with a couple of goals from Blackhawks to push the total over 6.

Coyotes are on a great run, winning five out of their last six matches. However, Sabres are also playing well this season, with a 9-3 record that makes them share the top spot in the Eastern Conference. So, we expect a pretty tight contest here.

But despite Coyotes being in a good form, Sabres area great home team and have a significant advantage in head-to-head matches with Coyotes, with 7 wins in their last 10 meetings. We like the odds on Sabres as well.

Our Pick: Sabres on the Moneyline

Florida Panthers @ Vancouver Canucks

All things point toward Canucks in this game – they are one of the best teams in the league and have an impressive 6-1 home record. However, Panthers are coming into this match after an important victory against Oilers and have plenty of confidence left for tonight. So, we feel it’s best to avoid betting on the final score.

Instead, we suggest backing over total goals in this game since both teams average 3.5 goals per game and generally play some very entertaining hockey.

Oilers are in great form, winning 8 out of their 11 games to start the season. On the other hand, Panthers are having a bad run, with 4 wins in 10 matches so far. That’s why we were surprised to see the odds which favor Panthers for tonight’s game.

We believe that this is a good match to back Oilers and take advantage to those surprising odds.

Our Pick: Oilers on the Moneyline

St. Louis Blues @ Detroit Red Wings

Detroit Red Wings are having a pretty bad season, with just 3 wins in 11 matches. On the other hand, reigning champions are still looking for their best form since their current score is 5-6. While we believe they will find a way to win this game, we suggest avoiding final score and sticking with total goals.

Since Red Wings are not the best scoring team out there, having scored two or fewer goals in their last seven games, this seems like a perfect match to back under.

Our Pick: Under 5.5 Total Goals

San Jose Sharks @ Ottawa Senators

Neither team has had the start to the season they were looking for. San Jose started the season well but they are currently on a bad run with just one win in their last four games. Senators only have 2 wins in 10 matches this season.

While it seems that this is going to be a very tight contest, we believe that Sharks have what it takes to break the bad run and get a win here.

Chicago Blackhawks @ Carolina Hurricanes

Blackhawks enter this game with three straight losses. In addition to this, their poor overall record is further accentuated by the fact that they only played one game away from home. So, it seems safe to expect that their poor form will continue on the road.

On the other hand, Carolina has just one loss in four home games. And although they also enter this game with a 3-game losing streak, they seem like a safe bet against Chicago.

Our Pick: Hurricanes on the Puckline

Columbus Blue Jackets @ Philadelphia Flyers

Both teams have won two games in a row and while Columbus has better overall score, it seem like a slight advantage should be give to Flyers since they have been pretty good at home so far, losing only one in four games.

However, we feel that final result is best avoided here. With both teams scoring an average of less than 3 goals, betting on under seems like a solid choice.

Our Pick: Under 6 Total Goals

St. Louis Blues @ Boston Bruins

This should be one of the more exciting matches this Saturday since both teams are playing well and it is, of course, the rematch of the last year’s finals that went into 7 games. So, we expect a tight contest here as well, even though Boston is in a bit better form.

Perhaps it is better to stick with goals in this match. Both teams average around 3 goals per match, so over may be a good option here.

Our Pick: Over 5.5 Total Goals

Anaheim Ducks @ Colorado Avalanche

Colorado stands on top of the Western Conference at the moment but they will be without Rantanen for this match, who is their first scorer. On the other hand, Ducks have started off the season well but they have been on a bad run recently, losing three matches in a row.

We feel that Avalanche has an edge for this one, despite the absence of their best scorer. Their home record is impressive since they haven’t lost a game in four home matches this season.

Despite this, we feel that this will be a tight contest and maybe even go into overtime. If you like to chase the odds, put your money on a draw. Otherwise, stick to Sharks on the puckline.

Our Pick: Sharks on the Puckline

New York Islanders @ Ottawa Senators

Islanders are having a good season so far with a bit of a surprising record of 6-3. In addition to this, they are on a five-game winning streak at the moment. On the other hand, Senators have only managed to win two games this season and don’t look so hot right now.

This could be a game where they push to turn their fortunes over but we like to back in-form teams, so our choice is to bet on Islanders here.

Our Pick: Islanders on the Moneyline

Washington Capitals @ Vancouver Canucks

Both teams are entering this match with positive records and a win in their last game. This seems like a good game to avoid betting on the winner, which is exactly why we suggest betting on total goals.

With both goalies being in great form and standing at below 2.17 GAA, it seems that 6.5 goals is pretty high. We suggest taking under in this game.

Sabres are one of the best teams in the NHL at the moment, while New York Rangers is one of the worst. Rangers enter into this game with three straight losses, Sabres with five straight wins. However, Rangers are 6 out of 10 against Sabres in the past meetings, which is something that can give them hope.

But despite this, betting on Sabres seems like a smart decision, even on the puckline if you are brave enough and want better odds.

Our Pick: Sabres on the Moneyline

San Jose Sharks @ Montreal Canadiens

Both teams have been inconsistent this season, although it seems like Canadiens are in better form at the moment. And since they play in front of their fans, it stands to reason that they can pull off a win here.

However, we are not so convinced and prefer to bet on total goals here. These teams scored fewer than seven goals combined in their recent meetings, so we suggest that you back under here.

Our Pick: Under 6.5 Total Goals

Los Angeles Kings @ St. Louis Blues

It seems that Kings have found their form lately since they enter this duel with a two-win streak. Despite this, they remain near the bottom of the conference. On the other hand, Blues have been inconsistent but they are still the reigning champions and a better team of the two.

With all that in mind, and with the home crowd to back them up, it seems that Blues will come on top in this game.

Our Pick: Blues on the Puckline

Minnesota Wild @ Nashville Predators

Minnesota is struggling this season, going into this game with a score of 3-6. However, they won their last two games and they hope to make the winning streak longer this evening. But Predators are playing great hockey this season and have the best home record in the conference.

In addition to this, Nashville has won the last six games between these teams, so backing Nashville seems like a safe bet.

This should be a pretty close game since both teams are playing in bad form, although Detroit has 2 wins more for the season than Senators, who only have one 1 in 8 matches. So, it’s best to avoid final score and stick to total goals here.

In this department, both teams score less than 2.5 goals per game. Of course, they concede more but at 6.5 goals, it’s safer to assume that they will go under than over.

Our Pick: Under 6.5 Total Goals

Pittsburgh Penguins @ Tampa Bay Lighting

Once again, we expect a tight contest in this game too. Tampa Bay is not playing as well as we all expected, having a score of 4 wins and 4 losses. On the other hand, Penguins are at 6-4 and coming into this match in better fort.

Still, Tampa Bay is a good team and they are playing home, so we suggest taking them on the moneyline, especially since Penguins will be without a few important players for this matchup.

Everything points out to Sabres, which is why it’s a bit surprising to see solid odds on the moneyline. Take the opportunity.

Our Pick: Sabres on the Moneyline

Arizona Coyotes @ New York Rangers

While New York Rangers are still looking for their best form, Coyotes are playing good hockey as of late. And even though they are not that great on the road, we still believe that they can come up with a win here, especially since their goalie is in great form.

In addition to this, Rangers are only 1-2 in their home games and they don’t instill any confidence that they can turn things around.

Our Pick: Coyotes on the Moneyline

Edmonton Oilers @ Minnesota Wild

Even though Minnesota won the last match at home, while Oilers lost their last match, the two teams are miles apart at the moment, both in quality and standings. And with Oilers looking to bounce back from their loss, this seems like a perfect opportunity to do so.

We believe that Oilers can take the win but if you are not so sure, you can take them on the puckline instead of the moneyline.

Flyers got off to a flying start of the season with two straight wins but quickly regressed and went on a 4-game losing streak that is still active, scoring only seven goals in the process. On the other hand, Vegas is playing great hockey and is currently on a run of four wins out of the last five games.

With all this in mind, plus considering the fact that Vegas is simply a better team, we recommend taking solid odds on them on the moneyline.

Our Pick: Golden Knights on the Moneyline

Colorado Avalanche @ St. Louis Blues

The defending champions are not having the best start of the season. With 3 wins out of the first 8 games, and with 4 losses in a row, Blues enter this game with a bit of an imperative to win. On the other hand, Colorado has lost only once so far and could be a solid bet here.

However, with a match as tightly contested as this one, betting on goals can be a safer way to go, especially over since Colorado is one of the best-scoring teams in the league.

Our Pick: Over 6 Total Goals

Ottawa Senators @ Dallas Stars

Both teams are having a pretty bad start to the season, although Senators are in a little bit worse position since they only have one win so far, while Dallas has two, including the win over Flyers in their last match.

Add a home arena advantage to the mix and Dallas seems like a safe bet in this one, even on the puckline.

New York Rangers started the season with a couple of wins but then they lost 3 straight games. On the other hand, Canucks were on a 4-game winning streak before the last night’s loss to New Jersey Devils.

So, with this being their second game of back-to-back, and the game scheduled for the afternoon slot, it seems like Rangers have a small advantage simply for being fresher. We suggest taking Rangers on the moneyline here.

Our Pick: Rangers on the Moneyline

Washington Capitals @ Chicago Blackhawks

Both teams are getting into this match with some positive momentum after a rocky start to the season. With this in mind, we suggest staying clear of the final outcome, although our bet would be to go with Capitals if we had to choose.

The safer wager at this time is betting on total goals. Both teams are proficient in scoring, especially lately. Capitals went over 6.5 total goals in their last three matches, while Blackhawks scored 3 or more goals in three of their last four matches. This seems like a clear-cut over.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Total Goals

Edmonton Oilers @ Winnipeg Jets

Edmonton is playing some of the best hockey in the league to start the season, which is reflected in their score of 8-1. On the other hand, Jets are still looking for good form, especially at home where they lost three straight games.

While Jets will be looking to end the bad run and snap their home losing streak, we don’t see this as a game where they can do it. In most cases, our choice is going with a team in better form, which is exactly what we suggest here as well.

Dallas is playing the second game of back-to-back, after they lost to Penguins last night. And they are desperate for a win since they have just one win in 9 matches this season. But we seriously doubt that the win will come here.

Don’t bet on the winner here. We feel that betting on goals is a better choice. Both teams are not great at scoring and with Starts tired from last night’s match, this looks like a big under.

Our Pick: Under 5.5 Total Goals

Calgary Flames @ Los Angeles Kings

Calgary will be looking to get a third win in the row, although they have been poor away from home with just 1 win in 4 matches so far. However, Kings are not that great at home either – they also come into this game with just 1 win in 4 home matches.

With this in mind and also taking into account generally better form for Calgary, we suggest taking Flames on the moneyline.

Our Pick: Flames on the Moneyline

Boston Bruins @ Toronto Maple Leafs

This should be a tightly contested matchup, which is why we prefer to stay away from predicting the winner despite leaning towards Bruins here.

Instead, betting on goals seems like a smarter play. With total set at 6.5, we feel that under is a pretty good bet. Boston has great defense that limits opponents to just 1.86 goals per game. We believe that their defense will make a difference here, so bet on under.

Our Pick: Under 6.5 Total Goals

Ottawa Senators @ Arizona Coyotes

So far, Senators are looking like one of the worst NHL teams. They have only pulled off one win in their 6 games so far, although it has been a surprising one against Tampa Bay.

On the other hand, Coyotes are playing well, entering this matchup with a two-game winning streak. Also, the games that they have lost this season have all been decided by one-goal difference, so a win for Coyotes seems like a pretty safe bet.

Colorado Avalanche @ Florida Panthers

Colorado is in good form at the start of the season, although they are coming to Florida after an overtime loss to Penguins. On the other hand, Florida won their last game but that was only the second win for them in the first 6 matches of the season.

And even though Florida has a good head-to-head record against Avalanche in their last 10 games, this still seems like a game where Colorado has an advantage. They are also a better team, so we suggest taking them on the moneyline.

Our Pick: Avalanche on the Moneyline

New York Rangers @ Washington Capitals

Capitals are pretty strong at home, while New York Rangers are having a bad run of two lost games in a row. And while taking Capitals on the puckline sounds like a good investment, we suggest staying clear of the final score and going with total goals.

After all, both teams score over 3 goals on average this season, while their games are almost always fast-paced and rich in goals. Three of their last four matches last season had more than 7 goals, so our suggestion is to bet on over again.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Total Goals

Detroit Red Wings @ Edmonton Oilers

This is supposed to be tight duel, with both teams playing well and having a strong start to the season. For that reason, it’s not easy to predict how the game could go and who may win, so taking puckline on Detroit may not be a bad choice.

However, a better choice is to put your money on over. Edmonton averages 5 goals in their home games so far, while Detroit scores an average of 3 goals on their away games. Over seems like a pretty safe bet.

Our Pick: Over 6.5 Total Goals

Carolina Hurricanes @ Anaheim Ducks

Caroline is playing some great hockey at the moment, which is why they are favorites in this game even though Anaheim is playing on its home turf and has a pretty great season as well, with 5 wins and 2 loses. This seems like a match that may be as closely contested as possible, so we suggest avoiding any final outcome bets.

It’s perhaps better to put your money on under because it both teams have great defenses. In addition to this, Hurricanes allowed 5 goals in their last match and we don’t expect that to happen again.

New York Islanders @ Winnipeg Jets

Both of these teams are pretty inconsistent and wildly unpredictable. For this reason, you should stay away from picking a winner, even with the puckline handicap.

On the other hand, Islanders are giving up 5 goals per game in their road games this season, while Winnipeg allows over 4 goals per game on their home turf. That’s why over on total goals here is set at 6 goals but even with that little obstacle, we would still pick over in this game. Of course, you can always go with alternate bet of 5.5 goals if you don’t mind smaller odds.

Our Pick: Over 6 Total Goals

Vancouver Canucks @ St. Louis Blues

Blues enter this game after a two-game losing streak, while Canucks are on a good run with 3 wins in a row. However, Vancouver will be playing without their starting goalie Jacob Markstrom who was given a day off for personal reasons.

And while the champions are still looking for their form, we suggest going with the home team on the moneyline.

Our Pick: Blues on the Moneyline

Tampa Bay Lightning @ Boston Bruins

It may be tempting to go with Lightning when you look at the odds but Boston is simply in better form and with the home court advantage that should prove to be enough for them to win.

However, perhaps a safer bet is under 6.5 goals. Even though both teams have good offenses, the reason for good home results for Boston lies in their defense since they are only giving up one goal per game at their turf. Add a high total and you have a solid under bet at good odds.

Our Pick: Under 6.5 Total Goals

Detroit Red Wings @ Calgary Flames

Detroit is on a road trip that is not really going well at all. They lost the last game at Vancouver 5-1 and were never really in the game at all. On the other hand, Calgary is playing well at home and has a positive record with Red Wings in recent past, winning 7 out of 10 last duels.

All of this is more than enough to take a puckline on the home team rather than trying to guess the number of goals.

Our Pick: Calgary on the Puckline

NHL 2020 Weekly Predictions – Game Week 1

Anaheim Ducks @ Columbus Blue Jackets

Game Starts on Friday, 7:00 PM ET

Jackets had three days off this week, which can help them stay fresh and give them a slight advantage over Anaheim in this match. However, the Ducks are on a 3-game winning streak, 2 of which came on the road as well. And while Ducks are favorites and a good choice to win this game as well, we would recommend taking the under here since the Ducks have played under in their last six games and Columbus is unlikely to score many goals.

Our Pick: Under 5.5 Game Totals

New Jersey Devils @ Boston Bruins

Game Starts on Saturday, 7:00 PM ET

With both teams coming into this game after a loss on Thursday, they will be looking to bounce back to the right track. However, we feel that Bruins have a bit of an advantage here. They have the home court, it’s the season opener at their arena and Devils are going to be playing their third away game in just five nights. We suggest taking the moneyline and staying clear of the puckline, however.

Our Pick: Bruins on the Moneyline

Tampa Bay Lightning @ Ottawa Senators

Game Starts on Saturday, 4:00 PM ET

Senators started the season with three straight losses, two of which have come at their home court. And while Tampa Bay won half their four games to date, they are strong favorites for this game for a reason. This seems like an easy win for Lighting and another home loss for Ottawa.

Our Bet: Lightning on the Puckline

Calgary Flames @ San Jose Sharks

Game Starts on Sunday, 10:00 PM ET

Sharks are going into this match after a series of bad results. They ended their streak of 4 straight losses against Blackhawks on Thursday, so they may carry that momentum into this game. However, the less risky bet here is over since Sharks and Flames have been scoring a lot of goals since the start of the season.

Our Pick: Over 5.5 Game Totals

NHL Predictions 2020

After the NHL last season, the exciting, crazy season, we had a summer to rest and recoup. Well, the summer is now over and the new NHL season is officially here, ready to take us for another spin on the ride for the Stanley Cup.

Some rosters have gone through significant changes, others remained mostly the same but one thing is sure once again – it is going to be a tight race to the top. So, let’s take a quick look at some of the top teams before we try to predict the outcome of the 2019/2020 NHL season.

NHL 2020 Picks: Top Teams to Watch

St. Louis Blues

Not many people would put their money on St. Louis last year, especially after they fired their coach after a wee into the season and after the reports of players fighting in practice. Yet, in the end, Blues took home the Cup, which only shows how unpredictable NHL can be.

The unexpected emergence of top goalie Jordan Binnington after he got his chance in January propelled the team to glory and with the new season on the way, St. Louis hopes rely mostly on his back since their championship run heavily depended on amazing defense and goalkeeping.

Blues have a solid team with Tarasenko, O’Reilly and a young prospect Vince Dunn. The team lost Pat Maroon and Justin Faulk this offseason but their championship roster is mostly back. However, since no team except for Pittsburgh Penguins managed to win the title two years in a row, a repeat for Blues is a hard sell.

Boston Bruins

The team that was one win away from the championship, at their own TD Garden, is mostly back this year with only a few depth players leaving this summer. Will that be enough to repeat the success of last year and maybe make that one crucial step forward remains to be seen.

Bruins relied on stellar defense last year and the Big Three of Marchand, Bergeron, and Pastrnak in the offense. While the team remained the same, that also means that they didn’t add anything new and that the infamous Game 7 loss at home can prove to be a pressure point this year as well, despite the mountain of experience Bruins have in their core players who are all over 30, David Pastrnak excluded.

Tampa Bay Lightning

Last year’s regular-season saw the unprecedented dominance by one team – Tampa Bay Lighting. They tied the record for most wins with 62, the same number of wins as Detroit Red Wings back in 1996. But in the playoffs, it all came crashing down for Tampa Bay. Lightning became the only Presidents’ Trophy winner to be swept in the first round after they lost to Columbus in a staggering and disappointing manner.

However, Tampa Bay is still the best team of the league on paper. They kept all of their core players, like Steven Stamkos, Brayden Point, Nikita Kucherov and Andrei Vasilevskiy. Let’s not forget Anthony Cirelli, who may not be the flashiest hockey player but his impressive rookie season can certainly keep Lightning fans hopeful for even better performances.

As one of the favorites to win it all, Tampa Bay is out for revenge and redemption and that may just be the tipping point in their favor this year.

Toronto Maple Leafs

After losing to Bruins in a first-round Game 7 for two years in the row, Maple Leafs are certainly hoping they could avoid Boston this year, at least in the first round. Toronto made quite a splash in the market this offseason, trading Nazem Kadri to Avalanche and getting Tyson Barrie in return, which is exactly the kind of defensive upgrade that they needed. The team also received Alexander Kerfoot in return.

One big problem that Toronto is facing is the dragged out negotiation process with RFA Mitch Marner but the team that has Auston Matthews, John Tavares, Jason Spezza and William Nylander has to at least be included in the championship discussion.

Carolina Hurricanes

After reaching the Eastern Conference Finals last year, Carolina Hurricanes will be hoping to achieve the same feat this year as well. However, that may be easier said than done considering the fact that they lost some important players this offseason, most notably Micheal Ferland, Justin Williams and Curtis McElhinney.

On the other hand, the team tied down Sebastian Aho to a team-friendly contract. Aho and Teuvo Teravainen will be leading the way for Hurricanes this year as well, with some solid additions like Erik Haula, James Reimer and Ryan Dzingel helping them out. The Canes also added Jake Gardiner and improved their already stacked defense.

Playoffs should be a certainty for this team, while anything more than that is a long shot but not an impossible task.

San Jose Sharks

Reaching the Western Conference Finals last year is a great result, albeit it came as a result of many lucky events and whistles along the way. This season, however, Sharks will be without Joe Pavelski for the first time since 2006, after the veteran left in free agency to join Dallas Stars.

But the main thing that Sharks had to do this offseason, they did it. Signing an expensive long-term deal with the star defensemen Erik Karlsson means that Sharks will rely heavily on their defense this season, especially since Karlsson is paired with a couple of great defensemen in Brent Burns and Marc-Edouard Vlasic.

If Timo Meier can replace Pavelski to some extent, San Jose Sharks can have a great season and hope for something more than Conference Finals.

Colorado Avalanche

After reaching the playoffs and winning the first round last year, Colorado will rightfully look to go a bit further this year since they have an amazing young core that seems poised to contend for the Cup in the years to come.

The team lead by young superstars Mikko Rantanen and Nathan MacKinnon is further empowered with additions of Nazem Kadri, Andre Burakovsky and Joonas Donskoi. While they did lose a great defensemen Tyson Barrie in the process, the Avs still have a strong defense that features Cale Makar, Sam Girard and a No.4 pick from this summer, Bowen Byram.

While Colorado still seems like a team built for the future, their time may come sooner than most people expect, perhaps even this upcoming season.

2019-2020 NHL Season Picks – Our Predictions

With the last season playoffs still fresh in our memories, it seems like an impossible task to predict anything about the 2019/2020 NHL season. After all, last season, for the first time in history, all four Division winners lost to Wildcard holders in the first round of the playoffs!

Despite that, we will bravely try to predict some of the outcomes for this new, and hopefully equally exciting NHL season.

NY Rangers Make the Playoffs

After making a few huge moves in the offseason, like adding a top free agent Artemi Panarin, great defensemen Jacob Trouba and Adam Fox and a hot prospect and a potential superstar Kaapo Kakko as the No. 2 overall draft pick, New York Rangers seem poised for some success in the future.

While still considered underdogs to make the playoffs, especially since they play in a tough Metropolitan Division, betting on Rangers to do it represents a solid value for money.

Colorado Makes the Finals

Even though Colorado lacks the experience to get to the top, they have all the talent in the world to be considered contenders already. And while we agree that Avalanche getting into the Finals is a long shot, it is a risk worth taking from our perspective.

After all, they are young and hungry and talented – what more do you want to take a swing on their potential?

Tampa Bay Wins the Championship

Their collapse in the playoffs last year didn’t hurt their odds at the bookmakers – Lighting is the top favorite to win the Stanley Cup this season.

And while it may seem risky to bet on a team that seemed so dominant in the regular season only to come crashing down in the postseason, we like to believe that they learned from their mistakes and that they will show character this year.

2018/2019 NHL Season Preview

St. Louis Blues produced one of the best showings of the entire season right when they needed it most to clinch their inaugural Stanley Cup trophy in the winner-gets-all 7th game of the NHL final away on Boston Bruins’ ice. The previous season thus ended in the most exciting of fashions. We can’t wait for October and the kick off to the new campaign which will be the 103rd edition of the competition.

It is still too early to give accurate predictions in terms of future bets, but we will go out with the earliest power rankings, or at least the way we (and bookies) see the main Stanley Cup contenders for the 2019/20 campaign.

Obviously, we can’t have a genuine guess on teams’ rosters for the next season which is why we will rather rely more on their previous term campaigns. Here is how we see main candidates for division winners and Stanley Cup contenders.

Metropolitan Division

Washington Capitals

The Caps are always among top contenders for the Metropolitan Division title. They headed into the last season with sky-high ambitions following the previous Stanley Cup trophy. The team did well in the regular season winning their respective division ahead of NY Islanders and Pittsburgh Penguins.

Nonetheless, they failed to meet expectations in the play-offs falling to Wild Card Carolina Hurricanes in seven games of the opening round. Team’s main star Alex Ovechkin enjoyed an extraordinary campaign with 89 points in the regular season. He added four goals and five points in the play-offs round against the Hurricanes, but it was not enough for the team to go beyond the opening stage. Rookies have gained the much-needed experience and if the veteran Russian superstar is capable of maintaining the highest level of his game, we can expect a lot from the Capitals. The value is just huge with the Caps priced up at +2,000 to go all the way with most US bookmakers.

Atlantic Division Predictions

Tampa Bay Lightning

Tampa Bay had one of the best regular season runs in the history of the game. They won as many as 62 of 82 matches tying the anthological Detroit Red Wings regular season streak in the 1995/96 season.  As many as 30 of these wins came on the road. The team topped their division with a 21-point cushion on Calgary Flames and Stanley Cup finalists Boston Bruins.

The Lightning bagged an incredible 3.96 goals per game and they’ve notched six or more goals on 19 separate occasions during the regular season. Nonetheless, it all counted for little as they just failed to find such form in the play-offs where they shockingly got swept by Columbus (0-4) at the very start of the post-season play.

The team should keep their main stars for the 2019/20 campaign. The regular season title should not come in question, but can the Lightning leave a bigger impact in the play-offs this time around? They are bookies’ main favourites to go all the way and lift the crown. The Lightning are +600 to win the Stanley Cup 2019/20 with SugarHouse.

Central Division Preview

Louis Blues

The Blues got off to a modest kick off to the previous season. They hovered around the basement in the first half of the campaign. The breakthrough moment came in January when goaltender Jordan Binnigton made his debut. He had a remarkable .927 save percentage and only 1.89 GAA until the end of the regular season.

Such stellar spell of form secured Binnington a first-team spot on the expense of Jake Allen. The rest is history. The Blues ended the regular season with eight wins in ten games and took advantage of the momentum to stun the likes of Winnipeg, Dallas, San Jose and Boston and eventually lift their first ever Stanley Cup silverware.

The reigning champions have to be considered as genuine contenders, but we do not expect them to repeat such an amazing play-offs run. There are many teams with much more quality in their ranks which is why we would not suggest backing the Blues to go all the way this time around. You may want to bet Unders in their matches with an incredible Binnigton on goal, though. In accordance to what we wrote, the Blues are +1,400 to match last season success.

Pacific Division Betting Predictions

Calgary Flames

Calgary enjoyed one of the best regular season campaigns in a while last year. They were the dominant force in the Pacific Division and ended the season with the second-best record in the entire league. They won 50 games and had a +62 goal difference. Nevertheless, they had such a forgettable run in the play-offs winning just one of four matches against Wild Card Colorado Avalanche.

The Flames could be one of the shadow favourites, but we will be careful with stronger assumptions with as many as many as four months remaining before the start to the new season. You will find the Flames at +2,000 odds to lift the trophy with most US sportsbooks.

Rest of the League

We see the aforementioned teams as main candidates for the Stanley Cup trophy next season. Nevertheless, there are plenty of other outfits which could steal the show, especially when the play-offs kick off.

Last season SC finalists Boston Bruins are certainly worth mentioning, as well as Toronto Maple Leafs. Toronto Raptors won the NBA Championship last season (their first title). Can the hockey squad do the same? They certainly have a chance with this squad on disposal, but a lot will depend on results of Mitch Marner negotiations.

San Jose Sharks, Vegas Golden Knights, New York Islanders and Pittsburgh Penguins complete our list of potential surprises.

NHL Tipsters to Follow

We closely followed and read what experts had to say in the previous NHL campaign. Based on everything we saw, there are two names which pop up. They are definitely worth following for the next season. This is why:

David Kelly

David Kelly is an experienced bettor from Toronto, Canada. He spent five years of NHL research for his academic work and is certainly a reliable person for that matter. The Canadian was especially impressive with the Over/Under market last season, hitting just under 80% of this type of bets.

Those who followed his predictions with $100 singles earned almost $3,500 profit in the 2017/18 season.  He made a $1,000+ profit from past 34 NHL picks.

Pete Blackburn

Pete Blackburn is CBS Sports young gun when it comes to ice-hockey analyses. He made more than $600 profit from past 19 NHL bets (13 winners and 6 losses). Blackburn has been CBS Sports leading NHL expert for two years. He can only be better in years to come with the experience gained and we most certainly expect a lot from this Boston-native pundit.
